"There was also a lot of chatter about the unemployment rate potentially dropping, but for the wrong reason - because discouraged workers are leaving the labor force".

When you have austerity, you get job loss. Republicans in Congress who have done NOTHING to help the economy don't seem to care if 350,000 teachers, cops and firemen have been laid off. They love the fact that the economy THEY CREATED is recovering so slowly.

The DEMS foolishly believe they can tax & spend our way to prosperity. They've been working on it since they took control of both houses back in '07. Now they can't even cobble together a budget. Blaming Bush at this point is laughable.
