- The only reason pop singers end up having to get surgery on their vocal chords is because they've improperly used their voice, straining and screeching and forcing the sound...not using the diaphragm properly and not having proper breath control while producing the sound also leads to strain...unless she corrects the way she produces her sound and doesn't change her approach to her vocal instrument, she'll ruin it again and maybe this time permanently lose her voice...
