- Michael, I thought this was a fantastic piece that highlighted Mt. Athos. I never knew such a place existed and was quite intrigued by the documentary. I think those at 60 minutes shed light on Mt. Athos and those who live there with a great deal of respect. I can't even imagine how inspiring this trip must have been, and to have met such a diverse group of men with unquestioning certainty in their faith. I am hoping to see a follow-up piece in the future.

- Thank you for your story of Mt Athos. It allowed me to see where my great-uncle lived his life as a monk. He lived there for years never leaving till he made a fateful decision to come down the mountain where he was killed by the Germans in the 40's. As a woman I would have never have seen the beauty of
MT Athos. Thank you and ??????? ??????. - Reply to this comment
- I found this story extremely inspiring! I am thankful to God for these men. We all have a place in the Body of Christ, a job God has given us to do. They are doing theirs rather well. Now, if we would all concern ourselves with the job we've been given and doing that job well,....well there wouldn't be enough time to criticize someone else's work, would there? Good job! p.s. If one is not aware of what his or her job is, just ask.

- Interesting story, and beautiful photography. But I'm confused: I don't believe either Jesus or his mother ever set foot in Greece, so how could he have given the peninsula to her?
