- I live in Arkansas and there are several Indian Casino's in Oklahoma near where I live. I am convinced that the majority of patron's are addicticed to gambling and I can put myself in that group. I am an alcohlic sober over 25 years and know something about addiction. While I don't spend eccential income on gambling I know there are many that do. The odds of winning are so remote that you can staticically there is no chance of winning over any period of time. Arkansas just started gambling to finance education scholarships but the money comes from those that are least able to afford it.

- Ms. Stahl completely missed the biggest problem with slot machines. They were created to keep women (girlfriends/wives) busy while men played table games. Slot machines play on addicting women specifically; AND women are unfairly taxed (tracked with their casino cards) while men at table games are NOT taxed on their winnings. I worked with Caesars for years -- and women, and the poor, are targeted. Gov. Rendell is the IDIOT and male, and rich. He is the one who doesn't GET IT.
