I listen to both on the computer and then on the home stereo and what I heard is strictly an opinion. The 13 year old on the TV show with Simon was very good, she started out a bit pitchy but settled down and did quite well through the rest of the song, but she never sounded like she was wrapped up in the song. Billie Tweddle is much more composed, sounds like an older woman singing, sounded like a composer which she is because she wrote that song herself which explains why she was wrapped up in it, and was never pitchy. They were two completely different types of melodies they sang, if both traded songs perhaps neither would have done well. All in all it was Billie Tweddle that gave me the goose bumps which is rare when I listen to music from amateurs, not only that but she is an original artist not a someone doing karaoke. I would keep my eye on Billie Tweddle.
