We humans have been eating eggs since before there were chickens. We have been eating toast, margarine, cereals, sugars and juice for only a few thousand years or less -- I say we search for the real killer.

I have friends who live in the mountains away from all pollution. They raise their own animals and grow their own food. They are both 103 years old and neither has ever been to a doctor or a hospital. They live in a very remote region in the Philippines.

It's not eggs. It's the crap that commercial farmers feed the chickens, cattle, etc. Even the commercially grown food is from Monsanto seeds that are chemically altered.

When people grew their own food we did not have the problems of cancer and heart disease that are so rampant today.

The life expectancy was shorter for other reasons, such as pneumonia,
child birth deaths, children's diseases and diseases that we have cures for today. But the food, air and water was much healthier.

There are two kinds of eggs and they have different health outcomes. The eggs that most Americans and Canadians eat are agri-business eggs from the grocery store. The chickens are fed a un-natural diet and have growth hormones and anti-biotics added to their food. Those eggs are not healthy. If you want good eggs that are healthy get organic eggs or better yet yard eggs from chickens that run free and forage for natural food.

[Spence told CBC News in Canada that a jumbo egg contains 237 mg of cholesterol in it, more cholesterol than is found in a burger with three slices of cheese and four slices of bacon.]
--------------------------------------------
how is one to decide?

the 'one' egg is surely cheaper ... but it's worse for you.

the bacon cheeseburger is better for you ... likely more filling ... but will cost much more.

can all these scientists and medical professionals just figure out how to combine two things that taste really good ... that will cancel out each other's negative attributes?

that would be a billion dollar idea.

First eggs were good for you.

Then they were bad for you.

Then they were good for you again. Or at least neutral as supposedly the cholesterol in eggs was "good cholesterol"...whatever that is.

Now they're bad for you.

There are SOOOO many other things that people can do that will make such a huge difference in comparison. (Not eating "junk food", getting off their butts and going for a walk every day, etc.) that whether or not you eat an egg yolk once in a while is really irrelevant.

Auntie Em !! Auntie Em !! The sky is falling!!
If we listen to all the garbage the "experts" tell us, we might just as well dig a hole and crawl into it. Anyway, eat all the eggs you want. The world will end on Dec 21 this year anyway...according to another bunch of "expert" loons. LMAO !!!

Yeah whatever. Coffee was bad for you before they backtracked and said it is not only okay but possibly a cancer preventative. It all depends on who's funding the study du jour. Why even report the garbage they'll reverse themselves a little later. For example, the BS about 2nd hand smoke. What's sorse witting next to a smoker or walking on the sidewalk on a hot summer day during rush hour gridlock and breathing?

Don't forget that first chocolate made you obese.

Then, eaten in moderation, it was good for you.

And the latest is that it helps brain function.
