Dave, as normal I watched the early show on Thursday and once again you broke my heart(in a great way.) the kindness you showed the lady that had lost her job was awesome! I cryed because I know where she is coming from. I am 50 and unemployed,a home owner and dont know where to turn next. The time you took to spent with her was out of this world and it made a huge difference in her life. You will make it home by Friday,I just know you will.If you don't get to New York by Friday just remember you made to home when you started this trip. I have seen a side of you that I will never forget. Please just keep being the great person you are and you will always come out on top.Keep that smile and strive on, you are a huge winner already.

Dave-You can make it back in time, I have faith. I have been watching you since you were on that other TV morning show, and followed you to CBS where I am still watching you every morning. No I am not some nutty fan, just a grandmother that likes to start her mornings with a little chuckle and a smile. I am glad you are doing other things than just the weather. Good luck and you will make it back to NY on time, and extremely exhausted!

What a colossal waste of time maybe you can salvage the story and talk about the real homeless people who can't twitter for help. Any way you can leave him out there?

Dave.....if you can get to Columbus, Oh, you may be able to catch a bus to NYC. It's a 14 hour ride from Columbus, to Schenectady, New York, so, the trip to NYC may be about the same......check it out

Dave, you need to go to a truck stop. The truckers will help you get home. My Dad has drove a truck for 40 years. They will help you, and it will be quite the experience. Good luck.

Hey Dave,

I've been trying to send an email, but before I can see where to send it to it's gone from the t.v. screen, so hopefully you'll get this when someone checks it. If you can get to Morrisville, Pennsylvania or atleast to the Philadelphia Airport, I'd be more then happy to drive you to NY. It's not a long trip at all. If you're interested email me at Storm20ver@aol.com. Take care and if I don't hear from you have a safe trip home!!

Sincerely,
Carl Pilla
