It sounds as if every Neocon Fascist Nazi Republican has come out on this post in essence saying: Good for them going hungry, they shouldn't have been born anyway!!!

For those of you who think this way and read your Bible, I wonder if Jesus would have told all the children that when they came to Him looking for food and some compassion??????

And aren't we all supposed to be Christians, try to be more Christ-like, and exercise some compassion????

HAIL OBAMA????

Don't have children if you can't afford them and if you do don't expect everyone else to help take care of your kids.

No body wants to see children hungary but as others have pointed out there are plenty of places to get assistance..

" This is Gods plan for them. God is punishing them for out of wedlock sex. I hope young women see how bad that is and grow up to want marriage as Jesus intended."

You do love giving religion a bad name. So what was it? An unfaithful husband? The death of a child? A death in the family? What has you angry a religion?

BREEDERS. They are disgusting.

Hungry, unwanted, unloved children are the result of discouraging birth control and abortion.

Look to Romania, where birth control and abortion were prohibited to see where America is headed.

Expect hungry, unwanted, unloved children when religion is allowed to dictate the abrogation of reproductive rights. Religion poisons everything!

Excellent post and I'm certain you express the feelings of millions of people who are sick and tired of the pandering to illegals and their supporters. Every illegal child in California, especially in the Los ANgeles area, run by Mayor Tony Villar, gets everything free from hot breakfasts in school to free lunches and food stamps, subsidized housing and on and on, not to mention the free health care paid for by our disgusted, hardworking, taxpaying citizenry. Our Mayor has made LA a sanctuary cesspool of entitlement seeking vermin.

I have little patience for these unwed, single mothers, whining about their lot in life when they are already sucking the life out of our system. Where are the men who should be making support payments? No one wants kids to go hungry, but children are the responsibility of the parents. The are not the responsibility of the over-burdened taxpayer. If these people cannot survive on the basics provided by our system, then tough. The illegals don't seem to have any problems making it work!

I teach in a low income, high-risk school in Texas. Not only am I required to serve all the students, in my class, breakfast each morning. Most of them get free/or reduced meals, at lunch. Now that school is out, free lunches are distributed all over our city for children who need them.

My point is...I don't see how a child could be starving anywhere in our community...our state...or this nation.I also know that the parents of these children have access to food stamp money and WIC that would buy a lot of rice, beans, cheese, milk, yogurt, and other healthy foods...if that is what they choose to buy.

I also noticed that the two women you interviewed for this news story, had nails that looked professionally "done." That money would have certainly been better spent on feeding their "hungry" children...in my humble opinion as a mother and a teacher.

Sad to say, the way I see it, the powers that be in the school lunch programs and in the homes of many of our nation's children, are not making the best nutritional choices for our them. I don't believe one more penny should be spent on feeding the children of our nation, until the current monies are spent in ways that truly feed our children healthfully.

Whats wrong with your "Goat Smelling Ass" to make a comment like what you stated about the hungry children here in the United States in parallel with Mexico and securing our borders. Just shows your true intelligence which is zero. Ok, you want to go the border route? Is our borders fenced and secured from Canada? Many drugs come through those unsecured borders. I am willing to bet that your a so called Democrat? Did you know the Klu Klux Klan branched off from the Democrat party? I bet you did not cause they don't teach history in the 3rd grade, after you dropped out of school in the 3rd grade! Your a bumbling idiot!
