- Although I've got to hand it you to you adt13t, you raise some real concerns there, and I like the way you say it. Fortunately we have some intellligent adversaries on the other side, because, ofcourse the unlimate Ultimate goal is to love thy enemy. Its just that we've got a looong ways to go (and uphill I mean) before that's going to happen. And I agree with you in a lot of ways.

- Cheney is a man who inspires me to speak up against all those liberals who can?t stand a man who says things for what they are. And all this nonsense about Cheney lying to get America to go to war on terror. If it wasn?t for Dick Cheney, and was only Dubya, frankly, God bless his careful nature, the US may have responded to the threat of terrorism too late to have curbed the eventual wave of terrorism that, ultimately, will be reigning down upon us ? a way of life for our children and their children. Sorry folks, that?s the real news.

- I am baffled why anyone is listening to the evil old curmudgeon or writing lengthy articles like yours..
Over and over again, he has proven to be wrong (weapons of mass destruction, anyone?), to be a misanthrope and xenophobe.
In other words, he's a bit of a mental case who wants to kill everyone in sight (or even "Old Europe"). He has never been able to acknowledge reality (how many years after the fact did he claim there were WMDs and that Saddam was working with Bin Laden?). He needs therapy, not our attention.
If you want to understand fear, just think of this terrible man one heartbeat away from the presidency. Now that sows terror in my heart! - Reply to this comment
- Lets look at subconscious motivations.
Incompetence needs a whipping boy to blame.
Torture is to gain false confessions not intelligence.
Most of the fools at our military prison are not terrorists
but people who's name was dropped to get the 25,000
bounty we offered, far more than many villages will ever see. Good riddance to the petty thief next door or your tribal rival etc. similar to but far more profitable than the salem witch hunts, lets see - if they drown they're innocent if they float they be witches and must burn.
Limp dickie needs someone to blame, while the treasury was raided by no bid crony incompetence and your childrens future was molested by this 5 deferral canned
hunt sadistic coward who's stated favorite pursuit is to
kill fledgling birds raised by humans.
bad dickie no historical bone. - Reply to this comment

" If you can honestly say you support Cheney, please don't move to my neighborhood. I don't want any crazies around my house. Cheney is a crook and was not the best VP. He is the most corrupt VP this country has ever had. We have had more soldiers die in Iraq than died on 9/11. If you include the innocent Iraqis, it is way more than Vietnam. He is a digusting pig and needs to be in prison for treason and abuse of power. He will get his one day."
It really is time you liberals calmed down and stopped being so shrill and hysterical. Nobody cares that you think supporters of Cheney are "crazy."
By the way, more soldiers died in World War II than died in Iraq and Vietnam combined. A curious fact: war kills. But you simply cannot avoid military action in certain cases, given that there are dangerous psychopaths in this world who are impervious to reason. - Reply to this comment

"Number of Americans killed by Clintons peaceful actions against a dangerous Iraq? Look, no one believes that Iraq wasn't dangerous, just not worth 5000 American lives. Bush/Cheney will be seen as the ones who sacrificed those lives for OIL."
How about the number of Americans killed due to the Clinton administrations completely inadequate handling of the Islamic terrorist threat - both in failing to kill Osama when he had the chance, or the extent to which his administration crippled communication between intelligence agencies, which greatly contributed to the failure of intelligence agencies to stop 9/11?
Read the book "The Bomb In My Garden" by an ex-Iraqi nuclear scientist. Hussein was a reckless psychopath who didn't care about consequences and who had on more than one occasion come extremely close to developing nukes. Leaving Saddam in power would have been an entirely irresponsible thing to do and it was an entirely justified war. The college-level meme that it was a "war for oil" is nothing more than a childish, shopworn slogan based purely on conjecture and which completely airbrushes out the circumstances which led to the war and the reasons given for war at the time. Too many American lives were lost because the war was executed poorly, not because it was an unjust war.
Sooner or later you liberals are going to have to realize that the single greatest pacifying influence on the world throughout history has been through the spread of free trade and democracy. The left, with its penchant for totalitarianism and socialism, obviously wishes to take the world in the opposite direction. The more free democracies there are in this world, the harder it's going to get for dictators to throw their weight around. Democracy and free trade are the two most important movements in world history and it is imperative that we support them both.
I note that you haven't dealt with my point that liberals said nothing as TWICE as many Iraqis died during the Clinton years through sanctions backed by Clinton. Liberals claim to "care" about Iraqis who died in the Iraq war. Given that they have never once exhibited concern about Iraqi lives before, the logical conclusion is that like most of the phony outrage displayed by the left, it's nothing more than a convenient platform on which to attack their political opponents.
Then you said:
"And your 'precious seeds of democracy' is so innocent: completely unaware of the last 9 years, are we? Bush/Cheney used the Iraq War to destroy democracy in America, not plant it in Iraq. You probably think Egypt is a democracy.... (Egypt, the country below Israel)"
I am entirely aware of the last 9 years. Unlike you, I have a clear and coherent memory of them which is not clouded by the shrill hysteria which has prevented liberals from thinking straight. Bush did nothing whatsoever to "destroy democracy in America." Nor did he take away any of your rights. Furthermore, there is nothing trivial about the birth of democracy in Iraq or the liberation of 50 million people from two of the most oppressive regimes on Earth. - Reply to this comment

- Dick Cheney has been characterized as the most powerful and influential Vice President in history, so powerful in fact that Dick Cheney said the Vice President was now it's own Branch of Government, the 4th Branch of Government and was not connected to the Office of the President. Cheney said the Vice Pres. was its own World! LOL

- Dick Cheney has invited Pres. Obama on a hunting trip, if I was Pres. Obama I would decline! On February 11, 2006, Cheney accidentally shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas attorney, in the face, neck, and upper torso with birdshot pellets when he turned to shoot a quail while hunting on a southern Texas ranch. It's rumored that Harry Whittington has informed Dick Cheney he was thinking about becoming a Democrat! LOL
