I am a democrat and by no means have limp wrists but all I am reading is Ashburn was on his own time and I in no way agree with what he does in his personal life but this is just that personal. Sounds to me like this is one of those nights he wishes he stayed home. Being a public figure does not mean your personal time was forfited with takeing the job. The fact that a republican got cought talking out both sides of his mouth is only to be expected. where is the surprise here? Ashburn at least wasn't toe tapping in the public restroom. I would love to see another republican bite the dust but I don't like to kick someone when they are down. I am sure the judge will make him wish he stayed home and maybe his friend will give him a sound spanking and make him feal better. This is just another political non event.

Hahahahahaha! Good stuff. Hey bible thumpers! I love how the sum total of your argument regarding rank political and social hypocrisy gets reduced down to "Adam and Eve". LOL Morons.

Hey, he could be bi-sexual...AC/DC? Also, he was under the influence, we do foolish things...don't we????
And what does his private life/actions have to do with State Laws?
That what I hear liberals saying over and over again.

Most of the people on this comments page only see him as a senator that left a gay bar with a man!

HE IS A LAWMAKER THAT GOT INTO HIS CAR AND DROVE DRUNK! HE COULD HAVE KILLED PEOPLE BY DOING SO. IS THIS THE KIND OF LAWMAKERS YOU WANT WRITING OUR BILLS AND LAWS? GET OVER THE GAY PART OF IT, FIRE HIM FOR BREAKING THE LAW, NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW AND A LAWMAKER BREAKING THE LAW SHOULD BE CAUSE TO FIRE THEM RIGHT NOW!! I AM SO TIRED OF THESE ELITISTS THINKING THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE AND THE LAW DOESN'T PERTAIN TO THEM, MY OPINION IS THEY ARE WORSE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WRITE THE LAWS TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE. HE WAS NOT PROTECTING THE PEOPLE, HE WAS PUTTING THEM IN DANGER!

But of course him being gay is more important to most of you because he is a republican, so carry on with your rants about his gayness and forget about the laws of the land!

IF GOD WANTED US ALL TO BE ONE SEX HE WOULD HAVE MADE US THAT WAY.
HE MADE ADAM & EVE TO CREATE A FAMILY AND LIVE AS A FAMILY. YOU CAN MAKE ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES BUT IT COMES BACK AROUND ADAM & EVE.ENOUGH SAID. PROGRESS64

Do these hypocrites ever come clean and say, "Yes, I'm gay, and I tried to deny it, but it's who I am"?

This is the sloppiest "article" I've ever read! Worser? Worstest? Are you kidding me? You could have taken this in so many directions, and this is all you've got? Get a job you're actually good at.
