I agree with you completely. Lord knows my kids want all sorts of things that I know aren't in their best interests. Part of the deal I made when I decided to become a parent was to think for my children when they are too young to think for themselves. Now I did have a friend some years ago that had a set of identical twins they actually put a single dot on the heel of 1 and 2 dots on the heel of the other child so they could tell them apart. I remember thinking that was excessive although a really good idea at the time. This on the other hand; is just sad.

She says she should be able to do whatever she thinks is right for HER children, but does the article not say that the BIOLOGICAL mother had a problem with it??
So she tattooed someone else's child. Outrageous.

Even if the children wanted to have it done, there is no valid excuse for the parent agreeing to do it. A fine example of poor parenting and the ultimate in stupidity. Once the child is of legal age, they can make their own decision and be responsible for the outcome. Not before.

The biggest part of being a parent is NOT giving the kids everything they want. Sometimes you have to say no. Doesn't Leviticus 19:32 forbid tatoos?
