- Krowster, Lanza's mother was not 'just another victim.' He shot her four times in the face. Does that not speak to you of horrible, immense rage, if not hatred?

- A killer is a killer is a killer. There is nothing "fundamentally different" from this senseless shooting than any other. It seems like we just got James Holmes removed from the spotlight after the last tragedy and that was 5 months ago. Now we have to deal with this *******'s face. I don't care what mental problems one may have or what troubled childhood they have/had. They are simply creeps who we as a society unfortunately have to deal with.

- Does Mr. Mones realize that Kip Kinkel of the Thurston High School shooting in Oregon shot both his parents before murdering his classmates? That tells me that Sandy Hook is actually NOT that fundamentally different from ANY other school shooting. Kip's parents appeased/enabled him by purchasing/allowing him to purchase firearms, which they thought would indulge a hobby, not invoke a murder spree. It seems that Lanza's mother may have done the same thing with her son in some attempt to have a sort of common ground between the two.

- What nonsense, the mother was just another victim. Besides, the issue is weapons, and the ability to easily have access to them. Experts will be citing their specific position on this for years to come. However, the facts remain, poor control of weapons, led to a massacre; and even worst, the paranoia of survivalist stances that our world is coming to an end, the fear it promotes, and the idiots who leverage these fear mongering tactics, is the real problem facing this country, now.
