- Clearly, this is a case of racism. If a white woman had done that to her child, she would have gotten counseling and probation. - Yes, she's a monster and deserves a harsh punishment, but 99 years is absurd. Sold into slavery with the proceeds and a percentage of her master's future profits going to her daughter would be a much better solution.

- She can afford piercings and tattoo's but can't afford to take care of her child....good for the judge...hope she gets some 'good' treatment from her fellow inmates and get a taste of what she dished out.

- The little 2 year old girl was put into a coma, by her mothers hands.
In my opinion the mother deserves something near death and nothing less, since that is what she gave to her daughter. Whoever thinks that 6 months is appropriate for beating a toddler into a coma should go out and stand in the middle of the highway right now. Do the world a favor. - Reply to this comment
