Sadly, domestic violence is not rare. 3 women die a day at the hands of a husband or boyfriend. This case made the news because it happened on a college campus and both involved were from good families, attractive, and had so much promise in life. It is a very sad tragedy. This is a reminder that domestic violence happens in all walks of life.

The "bring me half moons" seemed rather odd. At first I thought it might be some reference to his eyes, or some inside joke. However, after a little research the biggest search result comes from pill reports. Apparently, "half moons" are often pressed into ecstasy pills. I'm not raising the issue as a means of implying anything regarding character, just an FYI really. I went to College too. It's a tragic story regardless.

Another George Huguely....what is wrong with these guys? Can't they get their violence out on the playing field (or in his case, the rink) or do they think being athletes gives them license to beat up women and get away with it?
