She should definitely be tried in Massachusetts for the murder of her brother. Questions are still asked: why was she let off the hook for having killed him? Who was the DA at the time? Finally, had she been locked up years ago for murder, the Alabama victims would still be alive today.

She just absolutely looks the part of the insane killer! There must of been signs and her weirdness alone would scream volumes.

There are some criminals whose picture alone screams "Danger!". She's one of them, starting with the hairstyle.

Tenure is pure hell as a process - and a lot of feedback from students is heavily considered. In another article it was said students found it hard to follow her lectures. She seemed disorganized, unprepared and her grading system seemed random. She received poor reviews. No university is going to give anyone - man or woman - tenure - a promotion - higher pay for being incapable of satisfying the tuition paying students. It doesn't help her any that she shot her own brother.

BOO-HOO..I got fired..OK I'll sjustshoot every dayum body a faculty meeting, right?

Another Sicko who feels entitled.

This incident just goes to show-- doesn't matter how many letters you have behind your name, you're just one job away from being FIRED and possibly a murderer, so culture class & education mean actually nothing in this nation at this point in america, there is no true blue profile for a murderer, NONE!

Interesting - as I thought of her case recently when experiencing being blocked from my career as well - by males that effected the offense.

Though I would not kill my colleagues - I can certainly understand the intense feelings of being deprive of opportunity - and especially for women in roles such as Ms. Bishop competing for such power job that most women in the US have never been able to achieve.

Women are blocked out of these positions by men that have dominated these chairs for 250 years.

While I do not condone her violence and believe she likely had the money to fight them in court and should have done so - I understand the intense feelings of unfairness.

The more attention paid to these situations for women, the higher the likely that fairness will supersede blocking opportunity in the United States.

We are the most deprived of any minority group and this fact hasn't changed yet.

Make it fair including dedicating half of all seats at Capitol Hill to women. This is 2012 - it's time.

nah, she should be executed. enought of the avoiding the death penalty by pleading guilty. she should be executed by the end of this year. if it were my call, she would be executed already. fortunately for her, it's not my call.

Think she might have been a little prejudiced about not making tenure?

She murdered a man from India, two people of color, wounded a Latino and a Caucasian.

Yeah.
