Comments on: Man refuses to leave NC jail, gets rearrested


by credibility2 July 26, 2012 3:00 PM EDT: ...sad...he probably didn't want to leave because he had it better in jail than out on his own...I'm old enough to remember a Christmas Eve episode of Red Skelton as Freddie the Freeloader who got arrested and then released, only to get arrested again, etc...this went on for about four arrests, release and re-arrests...finally the cops realized he hadn't anywhere to go and it was snowing, so they let Freddie spend Christmas Eve and Day in jail, feeding him, keeping him warm with a roof over his head...; Reply to this comment

It is interesting though that police have no problem driving people TO jail but refuse to assist them BACK "home".; Reply to this comment
