- This girl has been or is being abused. She needs intensive therapy and even then may not be able to overcome her first 11 years' experences. She cannot be trusted around animals or children and is in grave danger of becoming a serial killer. As Gavin de Becker says in Gift of Fear: the best way to insure your kids won't kill you is raise them with love and compassion. Good luck, little girl.

- Oh my God this gives me the heebies!!! I am an avid animal lover, and this makes me absolutely sick. I agree with the charges the little sociopath is facing, but I also know there are some serious, deep issues with her that need dealt with, in a safe environment, where she can't hurt anyone else. I wonder what she was in foster care for in the first place? I think she's suffered some pretty severe trauma that's left a lot of rage, and that needs to be taken care of. I can only imagine what would have happened if there had been a baby or younger kid in that house...

- This is a total outrage; why wasn't this evil creature stopped before she killed the puppy? Did this "temporary foster mother" stand idly by and watch? Kids who display cruelty towards animals, if they are not stopped, will go on to commit violence and cruelty against people.
And why was there a need for "respite care" away from the kid's permanent foster family? This kid is already very, very sick but I'm afraid nothing will be done until she starts to hurt other people.
They should charge the "temporary foster mother" with animal cruelty as well as the sick little monster of a kid. I hate the idea that laws against animal cruelty don't usually carry penalties severe enough to deter others from committing more cruelty. If you are responsible for the violent death of an animal you should go to jail. This whole situation is sad, sick, and totally messed up. I'll bet a nickel we'll be hearing about this kid in another five or six years when she's hurt or killed a person. - Reply to this comment

- I can barely even read these stories since being involved with animal rescue aside from that where was the foster mother when this \child' beat the little dog to death?? children like this need medical and psychological help before they begin abusing and killing people it's sad all the way round
