If I were Zimmerman's fixer-father, I would think long and hard about putting up my house and savings to insure the apperance in court of such a proven untrustworthy individual...

One who has ALWAYS chosen the path of avoiding any responsibility for his mistakes.

He'd betray his old man as readily as he would anyone else...

If new, damaging evidence comes out...he'll rabbit!

Well, neither side got what they wanted, but I think it's a fair decision. Had Zimmerman and his wife been truthful the first time around, perhaps $1M wouldn't have been the set amount. I was actually surprised the original amount was so low, given the severity of the charges he's facing. I know that other murder suspects that do get bond get anywhere from $250 up to in the millions. We'll see if he makes it...
