- I've come to accept and respect individuals opinions, unlike others I don't throw racism around as a manipulation to press at someone's guilt over pass injustices, in order to sway opinions. I'm glad individuals in this case have stuck to their guns. And not allowed the manipulation of grandstanders provoke them to impede justice where this case is concern. I believe although Zimmerman made stupid mistakes, bad choices, etc., that night. He should have identified himself, though it wasn't a guarantee Martin wouldn't have still attacked him. I've supported Zimmerman, because I believe Martin viciously attacked him, without provocation. Likewise, I believe Zimmerman was in fear of his life. If somehow evidence appears which demonstrates otherwise, then and only then will I change my opinion. I won't be bullied by the media, grandstanding preachers or a black populous, whom have used their biases to render judgement in this case. I think it is shameful of those to use racism as springboard to launch a witch hunt against this man and his wife. When all the evidence, thus far, buttresses his claims of self-defense. Although there have been racist rants and verbalization here on these forums, by a host of individuals black and white, more prudent cooler minds shall prevail.

- No way a jury convicts; 12 people will not agree. You can rant and rave, but he will eventually walk. The prosecution bit off more than they can chew.

- George Zimmerman is his own worst enemy. He has created a credibility issue that is going to be his downfall. If he's smart, he'll follow the judge's orders without missing a beat, but I have a feeling we're going to see George in court again, before he ever goes to trial for the Martin murder.

- It's funny how that most people on this forum feel like the judge is being mean to George when in fact he has gone out of his way to be nice to George even with George making an ass out of him in his own court room along with the wife. Then on top of that, the judge choose not to exercise his power concerning contempt of court. Then on top of that, he GIVES George another bond even though he really shouldn't have. And what do you people do??? You **** and moan because George didn't get to come home on a $150,000 bond. He should not have been given bond at all and this gives me great concern about how the rest of this will go. In fact, I would be shocked if the Judge even allows him to be convicted of this crime at all. I don't know about anyone else, but I can clearly see that George is going to be acquitted and come home a millionaire just as he expects. He and his wife both will have a wonderful life and he will be a hero. Wow...just wow!

- The guy sounds like he's already being punished and sentenced. Whatever happened to the presumption of innocence that is supposed to belong to a plantiff? Did it already go the way of double jeopardy, and getting out of jail once you've served your sentence? And, what does it say about a culture that Jerry Sandusky is sentenced to life in prison--a place where male rape not only happens but is condoned and even encouraged? Fifty thousand flies cant' be wrong, I guess.

- Lying to the court is a real bad sign. I realize Zimmerman was taking a big time beating but he did confront the kid.
I think the Judge sent out a big time message. it will be interesting to see what O'Mara does. - Reply to this comment
- I still want to know why the New Black Panthers weren't charged with solicitation of murder when they passed out that "Wanted DEAD or Alive" poster. How is offering a reward like that legal?????

- coucou,
this case takes an incredible extent, set the bond at $1 million, can convey that the judge is certain that Zimmerman can get such a sum,
the obvious question, who will pay this huge sum ? in other words, who seeks to protect a murderer?
