Beneath all the B.S. is lots and lots of politics.. Bond is supposed to be set for the purpose of insuring that the suspect doesn't flee... and to defray costs if he needs to be apprehended, again.... Bond is NOT part of the punishment for the alleged offense.. Somehow, the system apparently believes that Zimmerman is more apt to flee, now, and needs to have it "socked to him" via restrictions and the cost of a bond .... and that there's no need to wait to punish him, because we think he's guilty, anyway???.... Hey, stupid!! His guilt and punishment is YET to be decided... and YOU won't be the ones to decide it...

You make the same stupid point over and over. Martin also could have avoided the situation. He also had several non-violent options available to him, but he chose violence above the rest. That is what ultimately got him killed!
*********************************

Yeah, right! Martin could have ran away thus taking the chance that Zimmerman would catch him, overpower him and hurt or kill him. Really??? Seriously, in today's world ANYBODY who menacingly follows somebody without calling out and identifying themselves and making it clear that they mean no harm are a THREAT. Personally, I don't trust anybody if they are intentionally following me. I think "What is their motive?" "Are they doing to rob me or hurt me?" Zimmerman SHOULD have let the cops do their job. He brought this on himself because he just wouldn't let the REAL cops handle the situation. He is nothing more than a bully who got in over his head and when he got scared somebody died. I really think Martin was afraid of Zimmerman and just wasn't going to take any chances of becoming somebody's victim.

Some people feel that GZ is being pre-judged and it's unfair. Isn't that's what GM did to TM. Some people feel that TM was a troubled kid who abused drugs. GZ was on psych drugs and he had his share of run in with the law. Maybe he's feeling pre-judging he dished out to TM. At least he's got his day in court to be judge. He didn't give that opportunity to TM. He was the judge and the jury and he felt that TM deserved the death sentence. As soon as that operator as GZ the race of TM, his whole attitude change. He's answer was I think he' black. Yeah, he's black. Then he gets anger. "Those blank, blank, blank always get away with it". It was alsoat that point when the dispatcher notice a pursuit. Are you following him? Yeah! Sir, we don't need you to do that. We are to believe that a man who hasn't walked away from any other battle, choose this time to walk away, even knowing he was carrying a weapon. Who is THEY he's referring to when talking to the dispatcher? The same day he described while talking to the cops. The BLACK males who robbed their neighborhood. He'd already decided that the's who TM was. Don't give me this crap about TM problem at school because GM didn't have that fact at the time. He prejudged TM.

Support for Trayvon/Zimmerman have very little to do with right and wrong. It's heavily based upon political views and biases. For me, this makes for good entertainment. I hope real facts come out and justice is served one way or the other. I'd like to see what "SYG" constitutes because both Martin and Zimmerman seem to have a right to "SYG". I'd like to see how the Defense Attorneys will explain Zimmerman pulling his pistol out of a left handed holster, mounted on his right hip with his right hand.. That would mean he pulled it upside down and shot Martin. In the video he demonstrates how he pulled his pistol (He is left handed by the way). But I understand that fact alone doesn't mean he is guilty but it doesn't mesh with his story very well either. Time will tell. Either way, Zimmerman will have to live with killing a human being and will never live a normal life regardless if he is found guilty or innocent.

He should come home a hero. He killed a punk that was trying to smash his head into the ground.
******************************

Too bad the "punk" failed in that regard!! Then maybe HE could have used the "stand your ground" lame law to his advantage. I think what really happened was because Zimmerman was basically STALKING the kid. Whether Treyvon hit Zimmerman or not, I still think the kid was in fear of Zimmerman because he was following him and Treyvon didn't know why. Zimmerman never identified himself. If somebody was following me, knowing that they might very well be able to out run me, I most certainally tried to make the first strike and take him out in my own defense, a sort of "pre-emptive strike" because I was in fear for my own life.

How can anyone honestly support this guy. Really, just think about it.

I was driving to the store when I saw this weird guy, he looked like he was on drugs or something, even though everyone says it was really too dark to see much of anything clearly I could absolutely tell that this guy looked like he was on drugs. He was just walking slowly and leisurely looking about. Well, I didn't know how old he was, I thought he was just a little bit younger than me, I'm 28 I might add. I told the 911 dispatcher that he appeared to be a late teenager, but I really just thought he was a little bit younger than me. Well, he noticed me watching him and he approached me in my vehicle and actually circled it before disappearing. This behavior frightened me so much that I completely forgot to mention it the the 911 dispatcher. Frightened and confused I dug deep into myself accessing all the hidden courage buried within my soul, leaving the only safety I had, with the this suspicious and possibly dangerous person out there somewhere to get the name of the street I was on, because I just for the life of me can't remember the name of the 3 streets in a neighborhood I've lived in for 3 years. As I was walking back to my vehicle, this guy jumped out of some bushes and was on me quick like a ninja. We exchanged some words and then he punched me from behind breaking my nose and knocking me down. He then straddled me pounding my head on the cement. I screamed and he put his hands over my mouth and nose telling me to shut up. Now this guy had to have been some sort of magical kung fu master because he was able to smother me and pound my head on the cement at the same time. I screamed several more times despite being smothered and then shot him because he went for my gun. Now he didn't just grab my gun he went through this whole motion of running his hand down my chest in side giving me the impression that is intention was to take my gun. After I shot him, having a hole in his chest he sat up and said "Ooooooooo you got me." Then he fell over dead.

Now don't get me wrong it's a great and exciting story. It even has a hero and a villain, but how many of you Zimmerman supporters would believe this pile of B.S. under any other circumstances? Just admit that you've already made your mind up. You have to believe so much that the black, baggie jeans, hoodie wearing, inner city, thug looking, suspended, weed smoking teenager. Just had to have been in the wrong and he just had to have been doing something that warranted being followed and shot. So much so that you'll believe anything that comes out of Zimmerman's mouth regardless of how utterly ridiculous it is.

George Zimmerman's lawyers are not so bright. They tried to put on evidence at a bond hearing to show the weakness in the prosecutions case. First of all, a bond hearing is just that. It is not a venue or proceeding for weighing evidence or determining guilt or innocent. Second, a GOOD lawyer would not have gone so far during pre-trial trying to point to the weakness of the prosecutor's case; that is a VERY POOR trial strategy because NOW all the prosecution has to do is build the strength of their case before trial. Zimmerman needs to find him another lawyer. There is no way I would have put on any defense evidence prior to trial. That only allows the prosecutor sufficien opportunity to correct any possible flaws that might result in an acquittal. What O'mara should have done was waited until the actual trial before putting on evidence. Now all of the witnesses that testified at the bond hearing are STUCK with the testimony that they gave during the bond hearing. George Zimmerman should have NEVER got on the stand at the First Bond hearing and testified because NOW if he gets on the stand at trial, every statement that he made during that bond hearing will be used against him at the REAL trial and one of Zimmerman's problems is that he testified UNDER OATH that he did not know how old Trayvon Martin was and that he thought that he was older, when in fact, he told the dispatch that he looked like he was in his 'teens'. That is but one inconsistency that will come out at trial should Zimmerman take the stand to testify. And Zimmerman can forget about the self-defense claim because Judge Lester has made clear that "Under any definition, the defendant has flaunted the system," "The defendant has tried to manipulate the system when he has been presented the opportunity to do so." It is clear that George Zimmerman's credibility with the court is DESTROYED and NOTHING that he Says will be taken lightly by the Court. Most trial lawyers knows that pretrial testimony can be dangerous for a defense, and Mr. O'mara may have to live with the strategy he chose which may work against George Zimmerman at trial...>GOOD LUCK< with that....

Maybe there is a God. Maybe there is some justice in America. Now I just hope we learn for this disaster and start controlling weapons as they do in real countries like Canada.

I wonder how many people would be contributing to zimmerman's defense if Trayvon Martin had been white and zimmerman black? All those who have contributed would be up in arms that he wasn't arrested immediately. As for the boy attacking zimmerman ... you all would have said he was defending himself and he was killed in cold blood.
The Black Panthers are violent, racist idiots; those contributing money to zimmerman are no better.
