School bullies grow up to be school administrators and police.

Boy that's an injustice if I ever heard one. It amazes me that such vicious harrassment is allowed to happen in schools, when it would never be tolerated at work, or in any other situation in life.

Poor kid just wanted to go to school and not be harassed.

Arrested? Really? Wonder where all the adults went.

They should give the kid a medal instead of trying to take him to court. The only thing I can see he did wrong was show the BB gun to other kids. When I was growing up in the 40's I was bullied by 2 punks. My Father told me to get an equilizer, so I got a baseball bat. After I broke the Shins on 1 of the bullies and one arm on the other they never bothered me after that.

Ok he shouldn't have brought the BB gun to school, but he was abviously scared and desperate. perhaps it was worth the punishment for his plight to be properly addressed by the adults in his life.

As for students who pick on other students with disabilities, shame on them. If you were my child you would be punished, severely.

This is really sad. America is so scared of it's own shadow these days that a 10 year old trying to protect himself (in a very 10 year old boy way) gets arrested and treated like he's real threat to somebody. Which, by the way, he wasn't.
