- Someone this out-of-control needs controlling. Daddy should be teaching his child how to behave in public, instead of plotting the upcoming lawsuit.

- Wow that is really great news. ***...
OK, Next step; we need to start water boarding the kids for being hyperactive and just simply kids. Prison systems need money and we need to supply their need as soon and as efficient as possible. Actually they also need to allow teachers use chains and handcuffs in the classrooms to keep order through different techniques of how to handcuff the kids and maybe learn the water boarding or just contact the Guantanamo bay office and ask for instructions manual which will include the free tour of the site. We are really proud of our school system. THE CHAIN GANG SCHOOL SYSTEMS. SAFE & PRODUCTIVE " a suggestion? You should also elect Charles Manson as education minister who will also train the school security officers on these delicate matters...* don't forget to make these procedures as PPV from all TV channels" this way we justify sentencing the kids for life in prison as grown ups. These are economical periods and we need to make that money, this should be the way, and we keep schools safe, with ultimately no students in our classrooms to begin with. I am sorry I forgot, this chief of Police needs to be promoted to the field marshal ranks in the Arschloch regiment. * just out of curiosity; dear Dray I mean chief; our neighbors new born throws tantrums too and that in the middle of the night crying all night wanting to be changed and fed all the time, could you please lend a hand, she needs those handcuffs of yours I see. - Reply to this comment
- The mother of this child says the six year old was only having a bad day, well mom your child was having more then a bad day, she was throwing things, hitting her teacher and principal not to mention trying to break the glass window, a normal child can have a bad day and still respect their elders especially the authority of the school system. If this child is acting out like this at six years old, what is going to happen when she gets older? Bring a gun to school and shoot up her school along with kids and school officials? I think the cops are in the right when they hand cuffed this child, I also feel that some counseling and a social worker working with the child and family should be thought about. There are other kids in this six year old class room and to me this child is endangering other children along with the school officials.

- So they can learn a lesson and stop being an idiot....pretty much the same reason you would be handcuffed, booked, and charged. You think the city wants to 'get you'? No, they are trying to teach you a lesson so you will become a better citizen. That's why jail is called a "correctional facility".

- no one thought to call her parents while they had her in the principals office? where are her parents in this situation? sounds like a lawsuit to me. I know as a parent someone better ring my phone in a case like this to let me know what is going on. there is something not right here. How do you not contact a parent or guardian? Nowhere in the article does it say anything about the parents being contact. That would not be cool with me.

- huh? A grown man and trained police officer has to handcuff a little girl? He can't handle her?
And WHY was HE put in charge? Shouldn't the parents have been called to the school?
Did he assess that she could be crying because of a medical condition? Is he qualified to assess the psychology of the situation?..or just be law enforcement.
If the school did not contact me as a parent..I would be PISSED that my child was exposed to being handcuffed by a stranger!!! - Reply to this comment

- What is the purpose of going thru the theater of pressing charges if a 6 year old can't answer for them in court anyway? Other then wasting taxpayers money, what gets solved by going thru these motions?
