- That boy has got to be the luckiest kid in the country! And they want to send her to ail for that! He's the envy of his peers and he slept with a beautiful cheerleader! Please tell me, where's the crime?

- Love all the comments about how it's okay for a teacher to have sex with a student as long as she's a "hot" female.
If this was a man having sex with a teen girl he'd be "taking advantage of her" and "a pervert".

- There is so much wrong with this story that I don't even know where to begin. Let's try from the top:
"She also pleaded not guilty to unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities."
She can't be guilty of that. No 20-something year old woman needs to induce a teenage boy to have sex. Ever.
"Meanwhile, Jones' mother was also indicted. Cheryl Jones faces a single charge of tampering with evidence. Cheryl Jones is the principal at Twenhofel Middle School and was placed on paid administrative leave, according to Dixie Heights Superintendent Terri Cox-Cruey."
How in the world was a middle school principal able to tamper with evidence at a high school? When I was in school, my middle school principal had no authority whatsoever at my high school. Her mom shouldn't have been able to do a thing to help her, assuming she's guilty.
"The student denies it. The parents of the student are upset that this has gone where it has gone. They don't have anything bad to say about Sarah. Sarah denies it," attorney Eric Deters said in December. "There's no victim. There's nobody saying 'Hey, this happened.'"
Somebody had to. Somebody had to file the charge or this wouldn't even be investigated and they wouldn't be held. Holding someone without charging them is illegal.
Okay, I think those are all the holes I can find in this story. Seems to me that both sides are doing some lying here. - Reply to this comment
- If I'd been doing someone like Sarah Jones in high school, I'd have kept my mouth shut and just enjoyed the ride.

- Reality check here - although some high school freshman boys are h*rny little sh*ts the majority are still too young and naive to have that kind of relationship with someone their own age let alone an authority figure - hot or not. Anytime a person of authority has s*x with a minor it is against the law and should be punished period.

- But think of the CHILD! This poor, innocent CHILD! He was only a High School freshman! How will he ever SURVIVE this experience?!?! He must be SEVERELY TRAUMATIZED by such an event. Can you imagine? I mean, this was his TEACHER -regardless of age, gender, or unquantifiable beauty- that must be ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING! How will he ever amount to anything in life? How will he be able to continue living? The SCARRING must be DEEP and PERMANENT! I feel so, so sorry for him.

- During the Bush Administration, the right wing chose to abuse their authority on multiple occasions, prosecuting Tommy Chong after setting him up in a conspiracy, and threaten to arrest and prosecute his family.
