- "Trayvon Martin shooting: What do we know?"
We know 13, supposedly, innocent people were shot in
Chicago and Al and Jesse haven't said a word about that because it was black-on-black violence.
It's called racism, not seeking justice. - Reply to this comment
- Since WHEN is it a racial slur to say,"******* punks!?" Its clear as day that thats what Zimmerman says.... Stop with the biased reporting and let the police do their jobs. THE POLICE KNOW MORE THAN EVERYONE EXCEPT MARTIN AND ZIMMERMAN, so stop screaming about justice until the FACTS are released!! This is ridiculous!!!

- There has to be more investigation. The problem is that if that turns up an innocent , the "people" dogged on by the MEDIA will riot.
JUST LIKE LA!!!!!
/////////
I have seen it in the Race Riots of 1992 in LA, where 52 Whites and Asians were murdered by Blacks, many were just on their way home from work, or in stores. Not one murderer was caught or convicted!!!!
The media refused to allow the POLICE to use the extensive video tapes from their News to help them ID the BAD men.
You would think that the LA TIMES SEARCH engine would have plenty on those riots, but they don't. They have erased all the articles. YOU CAN NOT EVEN FIND THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE KILLED IN LA!!!
The same sadly looks to be brewing here, egged on by the medial and interests. People's lives are in the balance. MEDIA ? - Reply to this comment
- This is an example of how the media has manipulated the information. You be the judge:
In an NBC segment featuring George Zimmerman's 911 call on the night of the Trayvon Martin shooting, Zimmerman is heard saying: "This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black."
The full version, though, unfolds like this:
Zimmerman: "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about."
911 operator: "Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?"
Zimmerman: "He looks black." - Reply to this comment
- Five immutable facts:
1) Zimmerman was armed
2) Zimmerman was angry
3) Zimmerman stalked his victim
4) Zimmerman confronted his victim
5) Zimmerman killed his victim
911 call records, Trayvon's phone records, and the police radio call-in timestamps leave only 1 minute for the confrontation to have occurred. - Reply to this comment
- First of all, the media will forever and always speculate, infuriate, over exaggerate, and basically take small pieces of info and create huge BS stories...this is not going to change so lets forget about that and just move on.
Secondly, there needs to be a trial point blank period. Forget trying to figure out who did what, to who, at what time, and who was wrong. A unarmed american citizen was killed...end of story. - Reply to this comment
- After talking 911, Zimmerman continued following Martin because he needed to find out the street name for the 911 operator. He then was hit from the back by Martin. So his suspicion and fear about Martin probably was very real to him.

- I don't know who threw the first punch, or the legal significance of that. Regardless, it seems to me that Zimmerman bears some moral responsibility for Trayvon's death. I say that because Zimmerman had no valid reason for questioning or confronting Trayvon, and had he not done so, Trayvon would be alive today.

- I bet not one of you were there at the shooting scene when it happened.
Are you and the press going to try this case here?
Let he who is without sin shoot first. - Reply to this comment
- If Zimmerman had ignored Trayvon and not let his paranoia (as defined by Webster as "a tendency on the part of the individual or group toward excessive or irrational suspiciousness and distrustfulness of others) get the better of him, we would not be dealing with this sad situation. Two people who were both fearful confronted each other. If Trayvon Martin made any mistakes, he paid with his life. If Robert Zimmerman made any mistakes, he has to answer for them. I think he made some mistakes.
