Trayvon Martin Investigator Wanted Manslaughter Charge

The lead homicide investigator in the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin recommended that neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter the night of the shooting, multiple sources told ABC News.

But Sanford, Fla., Investigator Chris Serino was instructed to not press charges against Zimmerman because the state attorney's office headed by Norman Wolfinger determined there wasn't enough evidence to lead to a conviction, the sources told ABC News.

Serino filed an affidavit on Feb. 26, the night that Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, that stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman's version of events.

A young man was shot. He was unarmed and accused of attacking a grown man with a gun. Give me a break.
A man with a gun shot a person because he thinks he is justified to do so. Zimmerman did not call the police, he did not do anything else besides using his weapon to shoot at a kid. Come on man.
Zimmerman is guilty on not restraining himself and using deadly force in a situation that did not call for it and a young man has paid the ultimate price. This is a no brainer!
Everyone sees it but the law in that town.

Seems to me more and more evidence is coming out that Trayvon was not as innocent as some of you portrait him to be. I'm not saying that the shooting was justified but don't be playin the "black" card over this. Why does it have to be a race thing. Would the great Reverend be out there if the boy was white or Mexican? Heck why isn't there a White history month? Trayvon may not have deserved this but he was not a boy who lived like a Saint by any means. You will see as time goes on.

He says he did not know the person he was following. Then why are they suggesting that this kid's problems are school are somehow related to this case? One can not seek justification after the fact.

Love it or leave it.

Good advice.

If young and knowing what I know now and what the USA has become and will become more so my advice to younguns, in general, with personal exceptions of course is to seek out a country and culture you believe you would fit into and learn its predominant language and acquaint yourself with its culture and depart the failed experiment of the USA.

And shun anyplace that immerses its populace in such intense life-long propaganda as the USA does with its citizen-sheep and where political correctness is promulgated MUCH more so then unifying bonds.

Get off the sinking ship SS USA.

Wow. This is in no way relevant to what happened to the kid. Sounds like Zimmerman's lawyer's decided to start using the media. This doesn't change the fact that he was stalked, then confronted, by Zimmerman, before he was murdered. The police told Zimmerman not to engage the kid; they were on their way. What was his reaction? "These ******** always get away." So he decided to take matters into his own hands instead. This also doesn't change the fact that there was police corruption going on from the start. Witnesses were being forced to change their testimony.

I'm all for self-defense laws; we have them in my state. But I don't think it's justifiable to kill someone if you are the person who instigated the altercation. Especially if the other person is unarmed.

Just for the record, I am a white Republican.

The story doesn't fit in with the image the money hungry parents and media are trying to create with the pics of him when he was 10. We have a soon to be 18 year old man suspended for ten days for pot possession and at his dads girlfriends place for that reason. The family didnt seem to be worried that he was missing that nite, even though the phone went dead and he told them he was being followed. It sounds like the mom threw him out since he was out on the streets too much and he went to his dads. He probably was acting suspicious since he was a thug.
