Talk about geek bureaucrats screwing the US Constitution. Ha Ha Ha Ha! DNA evidence nearly 3 decades old used to convict! How terribly sad and frightening. Hopefully, there was other persuasive circumstantial evidence presented to the jury which encouraged the verdict. Murderers should get what they deserve. But let's not all become mindless slaves to a science that is still quite evolving...The "sounds smart; must be true" mind-set cannot establish a reliable test when venturing into the realm of the power of the state to convict and its natural nemeses, human freedom and dignity. The Bill of Rights demands more respect than that. Millions have died protecting our First Ten Amendments. And Cheers to Good Cops that recognize that.

Lazarus left a bite mark on Sheri. If the police had listened to Sheri's parents when they gave Lazarus name as a suspect, the case would've been solved after bite mark impressions were matched to Lazarus. Also, Sheri fought back, and Lazarus would've had injuries.
RIP Sheri

NYPD IS COVERING UP MURDER BY ITS OWN IN NEW YORK CITY.

This case illustrates the conflict of interest in a police department investigating its own officers.

There is a similar story unfolding in New York City:

Sunny Sheu, a victim of mortgage fraud, discovered that a NY Supreme Court Judge was complicit in the fraud that stole his home.

Sunny was abducted by two NYPD detectives and threatened with death if he "went to the authorities".

Sunny requested witness protection from the FBI and posted a video on Youtube predicting his murder by the judge and the NYPD detectives.

Days later, on June 26th 2010, Sunny was found bludgeoned to death on a dead end street in Flushing Queens.

Just HOURS after his death, the NYPD ILLEGALLY REMOVED HIS BODY from the hospital and sent it to the Medical Examiner with a note saying he had died of an "aneurysm" and that there was "no criminality".

THE MEDICAL EXAMINER WHO DID THE AUTOPSY DISAGREED and ruled the cause of death "Blunt force trauma to the Head with skull fractures and brain injuries." and the manner of death "undetermined", making a criminal investigation mandatory.

THERE HAS BEEN NO INVESTIGATION, EVEN THOUGH SUNNY NAMED HIS MURDERERS - INCLUDING TWO NYPD DETECTIVES- IN A YOUTUBE VIDEO BEFORE HE WAS KILLED.

It's amazing how they can convict this woman years later, but they cannot or will not come out and tell you which parent killed Jean Beniot Ramsey.

In the end DNA is going to catch anyone who tries to perp a crime. There's no escape anymore for criminals. I'm glad they caught her and will throw her into a cell where she belongs. It's really sad becuase after 26 years she probably doesn't have an ounce of feeling for that man and what she did will ruin the rest of her natural life. Sad & very stupid.

Dang. Good job to the cold case squad. Yes, I usually rant about cops, but in this case they deserve kudos.
