- Stephany and Natalee and their families got a lifetime sentence. This monster gets 28 years, out in 14. That's justice. Nice.

- What ticks me off is he pretty much implies that it is Natalee and her family's fault that he killed Stephany in that he was prosecuted for five years for a crime he didn't commit. What a crock! If he had told the truth about what happened to Natalee there would have been no 5 years worth of "psychological trauma". He would have served his time; Natalee could have been buried with dignity and he and everyone could have gotten on with their lives, INCLUDING Stephany. But, he chose to lie and lie and lie again about what he did to and with Natalee each time bringing more and more emotional distress to Natalee's family. Even after death he tormented her family saying he sold her, put her in the ocean then trying to extort money from her family. Not only should be blame himself for his "emotional trauma", he should also blame his dead father, the chief of police and the Aruban government for his psychological trauma. They covered his crime rather than make him man up and do his time. Instead, he skated and killed yet another beautiful woman. He deserves to suffer the rest of his life. I just hope someone gives it to him and gives it to him good. He didn't just suffocate Stephany like he says, the blood and bruising says differently. He beat her to death. I believe he did the same to Natalee. He needs a little or a lot of the same type of beating.

- I don't know that Peru allows day for day. I'm thinking they said he wouldn't be eligible for rease until June 2038. He has been in jail since June 2010. Still not enough time tho in my opinion. Too bad it't not some hard labor camp in 100 degree heat or soemthig. Hopefully, someone has a little fun with him while he is in there. He will be what like 52 when he gets out. May save a few lives while he is locked up.
