- Tough evening for the Mom. If she was on the phone 22 minutes why didn't the cops show up? Glad she survived and the intruder got his "just reward." Think it is ridiculous she had to wait for him to beat down the door. In Pennsylvania, they changed that law, the perps only have to be on the property then you can fire at will. Hope the town gives her a medal, everybody got off cheap here, no arrest, no conviction, no jail, no judge, no lawyers, nobody has to listen to the human rights activist. Hey folks, this is really the way it should be, just "sweet justice". He done the crime and he got the nine.

- omg, poor lady. 21 minutes of adrenaline-pumping horror. thank god she HAD a gun! in california it's tough, but when i move to kansas or texas as a single attractive lady with kids, you better bet i'm gonna have protection. as i said a minute ago, if we had more of an anarchist nation and could all take care of ourselves without government intervention on everything, we'd have alot less ******* thieving thugs out there - they need to think twice. idiots. god bless her. just lost her hubby too. :(

- She's gone through so much pain already with her husband dying. Neighbors really need to come in and give her all the help and care she needs. Good on her for shooting him in self defense to protect herself and child. Sadly Martin got what was coming to him. And if only his parents had kept a more closer eye on him - only 24!

- Last week in South Carolina a young woman was abducted and murdered after leaving a convenience store. Surveillance video shows the guy menacing her in the store. He somehow ran her car off the road and killed her with a baseball bat. If she had been carrying a gun things might have ended differently.
