- If someone expresses a romantic interest in you that you don't want, you tell them so. If someone touches you inappropriately, you tell them off or report them to a parent, a teacher, a boss, or a police officer. You don't KILL THEM. If that were the case, MANY of us would be dead, or accused of murder.

- I wrote a whole speech yesterday but the flippin thing didnt post. so ima rewrite just because.
Larry instigated the situations before the crime took place. If larry had understood his actions towards Brandon was not Funny, nor a joke then I would hope larry would have stopped and realized what he was doing was wrong.
I do admit Brandon took it a little far with the shooting, in school, in the back of Larrys head. But realisitcally, it must have gotten to the point where Brandon felt insecure enough to proceed with his thoughts, feelings, actions.
What people need to realize is that if you instigate a situation, you need to UNDERSTAND that it is NOT OKAY to take things lightly.
We live in a world with real people who do very real things.
And in this situation Brandon couldnt hanlde the fact that Larry was ''acting the fool'' towards him without any signs of backing down.
Overall Brandon shouldnt have been tried as an adult because he was CLEARLY not that age at the time of the ''Incident''
I am the exact age as Larry ( If he were to still be alive ) and in brandons shoes i would expect a peer to stop & understand that when I say no, it means no. Not ooh ahaha, im going to continue getting your attention & try my best to get you to like me.
Hopefully this situation allows others to realize that you cannot act the fool to anyone you want. KNOW WHEN TO DRAW THE LINE - - Reply to this comment
- Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong.
Murder is wrong- regardless the circumstances.
Unwanted sexual advances are wrong- regardless the circumstances.
Allowing a male student to continually, and deliberately, disrupt a classroom environment for the sole purpose of expressing his "SEXUAL preference" via his wardrobe, is not just wrong, it's absolutely ignorant!! Regardless of the circumstances!
It should NOT be allowed OR ACCEPTED in ANY situation, but when it is brought into an environment still filled with immature children, who are, for the most part, stupid, and sometimes volatile, when it comes to the blending of 'social' acceptances, the person allowing it to continue is just baiting the trap for the damage that WILL be done.
There are some things that are just out and out offensive, and some emotionally challenged kid demanding attention by FORCING other kids to accept his behavior, is just one of them. If the accusations he was making passes at Brandon McInerney and other boys is true, his behavior was inexcusable and the school, and all its management personnel, should be held accountable, too!
If ANYONE is so desperate to be the center of attention they jolly well better be ready for the consequences of those demands- all of them.
What Brandon McInerney did was wrong- very, very wrong. He had absolutely no right to take anothers life. Obviously, he is more emotionally disturbed than Larry King was, but the fact still remains that the ADULTS who were in charge- school officials AND PARENTS, allowed it to continue and by doing so they allowed the consequences to follow. - Reply to this comment

- REGARDLESS, if he was gay/or she Lesbian, no one, but no one have the right to take the life of either one. I remember, telling a teenage girl after she confided in me about she and some other students beating up a kid because he was gay. I told her, what right do you have, to take it upon yourself to chestise him for being gay? You leave that in God's hands. God will deal with that. How would you like it if students beat you up because you're dark skinned? and she said she wouldn't like that. I told her, you're not his parent, nor his God, leave him alone and leave it in God's hands. We don't know why people become gay and or Lesbians but whom are we to judge.

- Generally speaking, those who have rather unusual hatred towards gays are more than likely to be gay themselves. I suspect Brandon McInerney has some unresolved homosexual leanings. I guess he will find that out in prison.

- Hears a thought keep your sexual bias in your bedroom and out of the schools. We should go back to schools uniforms to prevent any misunderstandings if you are a boy then you must dress appropriatly if a girl likewise. when you get home then you can express your individuality. just saying

- The quee rs parents have a large share of responsibility here. You don't send your dysfunctional kid to school in a dress and high heels. The teachers as well, you have to wonder how many parents were looking for another school when they heard about this type of behavior. It appears from the extensive stalking McInerney was reported to have put up with, the queers teachers and parents were trying to force this kid to accept this lifestyle. It didn't work. Two shots to the head at point blank range took care of the queers problems. Why don't these people seek psychiatric help? When you follow somebody around all day and they are clearly being antagonized what else can you can you expect. I don't see a murder here at all, I see a kid protecting himself and his identity from this queer, the queers parents and the queers teachers.

- Since in-school violence against homosexual students happens far too often, administrative action should be clearly spelled out regarding decisive punishment meted out to the aggressors. As a former teacher, on occasion I saw it, reported it, and felt it was then often treated entirely too lightly by the administration. These actions can escalate into violent attacks and should be treated with absolutely zero tolerance!
