Words fail me!! What pleasure can a 5 year old baby give a man? She was so adorable and I shudder when I think of what she went through before dying. When she was taken to the hotel room and McNeill left with her after an hour, was the room searched, and if so, what evidence was found there?

I'll bet the mother does not get near the prison sentence that a man would get.

It is extremely notable that the body of Shaniya Davis was found under bushes of Kudzu plants (Pueraria lobata). The Kudzu has been, generally labeled a weed, a noxious weed, due to its uncontrollable growth which chokes surrounding vegetation. It is a vine genus; it trails, it climbs and coils. Southern states, including North Carolina, where the vine grows sporadically, attribute such names to the coiling invader as, ?mile-a-minute?, vine and ?foot-a-night,? vine or, ?the vine that ate the South?. Would it be presumptuous to apply an analogy of this aggressive vine to the increasingly incessant nature of horrific crimes against children? It seems the attempt is worth the analysis. Could there be a message being given to us? Is the message from the body of a presumably mutilated, raped, defiled, disrespected and deprived-of-life, 5 year old girl, found under weedy bushes of such an uncontrollable nature? The environment in which young children live is completing its cycle in becoming the vine from a most evil, vile state of dementia. The winding, trailing, coiling perpetual cycle of existence ?a weed, choking decency, care, nurture and concern for children from their supposed guardians and care-givers; making love for the young alien and unattainable. Parental negligence, adults and even young people contribute to creating coiling, climbing, out-of-control, criminal danger zones consistently voiding any breath of comforting life and living from babies unable to defend themselves.

I commented earlier on the history of how Shaniya ended up in the clutches of this monster. That her loving dad had only done what he thought best for Shaniya to have her "real" mother be a "mommy" to her. I know now that he realizes there are some mothers who do not deserve the privilege of being a "mommy". I know also that he learned this unfortunately at the very high cost of losing,as he calls her, his "precious angel". THat all said I had made the comment that I believed that N.C. was a NO death penalty state. Though in this case I truly believe our governments way of putting the guilty to death,in the case of this monster that is WAY TOO EASY OF A WAY OUT! I wanted to know if anyone could let me know if North Carolina is indeed a NO death penalty state or if they do infact use the needle. Anyone who knows I am wondering.
