I was talking to one of my neighbors, a Sheriff, and he says crime is actually down and none of the law enforcement can figure out why? I live in and around a few police and they state the same thing. Maybe even the criminals fear something, that others are possibly ignoring?

Ubrew:

Have you had one too many? What part of 'try, them, convict them and excute them' are you having a hard time grasping? If someone is innocent, let's just hope they aren't convicted.

But for anyone to kill people who are 'all that' in such a cold and callous manner, deserves mercy only if God intercedes. Our laws allow for mercy if it is warranted, and only if.

Now is their any among us that will take in dozens of 'normal' children, let alone someone devoting their LIFE to adopting and loving those who have already been rejected by their own parents? I rest my case.

Only the weak can not believe that there may be a stronger and wiser power. I feel bad that some people can not accept that. P.S. I am not a right wing conservative but a liberal arts educated professional

Maybe they thought they must have a lot of $, as with 16 kids you have to have a huge house I'd think.

"Where is God ... all things happen according to His will ... does he have to discuss that with you? If they were God fearing people then they are better off where they are now ... if we only had more like them then we would not have to worry where the unwanted were to end up ... '''

'Does he have to discuss that with you' That certainly is reactionary and adversarial. If we had more like them? We have lots like them. That doesn't address the post either. Basically you responded and attempted to answer the question by restating it and really said nothing except to say God needs not answer.

Why must they be "God fearing" people to be in a better place? Can't they be in a better place by being God loving and good people who live their lives in a humble and loving way, affecting positive change and influence where ever they go?

They may be better off, but what of the innocent children? Are they too better off? Or is that of no concern to God. Perhaps there is a plan for them that requires them to carry many burdens and abandonments throughout their lives in order to be worthy.

WHY? Why would someone kill these people? Did the murderers think they would find a stash of cash in a home with 16 children? These guys are perfect candidates for the death penalty.

And denial of God is for the stupid, like you.
by gwstix July 11, 2009 2:01 PM EDT
"denial of god is for the stupid" "guaranteed!...." "...feel bad that some people can not accept" I assume you talk to god or does he/she/it talk to you? Why are you talking on behalf of god and the world never hears a peep directly from he/she/it?

I think we can (and should) be more respectful of one another's beliefs (or as applicable, non-belief).

perhaps crime is not related to bad economic times. During the Depression, crime was down too. Maybe there are other spiritual factors, or factors related to self respect.
This is a most disturbing crime. I pray for these poor children.

How come no pictures of the suspects? You KNOW they are going to leave the state...

Why bring up such idiotic comments ... of course not until they are proven guilty ... but I am with her dispose of them fast.

Where is God ... all things happen according to His will ... does he have to discuss that with you? If they were God fearing people then they are better off where they are now ... if we only had more like them then we would not have to worry where the unwanted were to end up ...

Yes I would like to think that good caring people will be accepted into Gods hands and the crule and wicked be shamed to hell. But as it states... Believe in me and you will have everlasting life. I'm no bible thumper but I am proud to say I'M a BELIEVER. Pray.

Now, that screams death penalty. No questions asked? No appeals, try them, convict them and then execute them. No appeals for scum.
