- First, I would like to apologize to all females. The subject of rape is one that has no place in society...not this society or ones in the past.
When an eleven year old child is raped by at least 18 individuals, it makes me become judge, jury and...EXECUTIONER'S!(automatically). Without the due process guaranteed to all accused, I move to the verdict and punishment process.
Death is not an option--too bad. So, I'll settle for the 25 to LIFE sentence.
The emotional scars that will forever be a part of the young lady's life is ENOUGH to justify the sentence.
Now, the inside feelings of this case. For 18 Black men (small 'b') that is.
If the defense is "she asked for it", then I suggest the accused should fire their lawyers. Actually, there is no excuse for 'gang-rape'. Add the fact that the accusers range up to 27 years old automatically destroys the defense of the accusers.
When man acts out the ancient role of 'gang-mentality', only shows the 'nature of the beast'.
As upset as I become when I see the lynching of a Black-man, the animal-like actions of the 'White men' as they tar, feather, and destroy the body of the Black man, as if they were having a gal event. I associate their actions to be one in the same.
For man-kind to revert back to their cannibalistic behaviorism is no excuse.
I only hope justice prevails in this case. Furthermore, I hope Cleveland, Texas,one day,will be able to hold their collective heads high. But for now....may the 'Cleveland 18' BE DAMNED!! - Reply to this comment
- When I was in school, few Kids had sex and there were no special-ed classes for "slow" students. That meant there were always a few girls that didn't realize they were being taken advantage of when clever guys copped a feel, and some were even "used" sexually. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but I read that 11-yr.-old black girls can be fully developed and possibly understand her body enough to be promiscuous. Those big, older fellows might have no qualms whatsoever to having sex with such a girl, and may be too ignorant to understand the penalties for it-(or don't care)! nevertheless, the deed is done, and there's going to be many sad guys because they didn't have the common sense to either walk away or help that pathetic girl!

The girl, who police have not named, told investigators she was raped at the home on Nov. 28.
Indictments in the case say there also were attacks on Sept. 15 and Oct. 25. Each time, at least two individuals were allegedly involved. The indictments say the girl was attacked by at least three people in November.
How can i get rapped or have problems this many time I need more to the story.

- just because these men are black they will not report this in the news like they would if they were white. It's DISCRIMINATION! This was a HORRIBLE crime. I don't care if the victim was white, black, brown, yellow, it was HEINOUS and it should be in the news.
Why? Because what is very alarming is the decay into ochlocracy that happened. "Mob rule" is a great album title, it is not the way people behave in a civilized society. What on earth kind of environment is in place where such a thing is expressed so widespread as if acceptable? Have the threads of civilization decayed and frayed that much? - I have ask where were the Girls PARENTS? Not a lot of info is coming out was one of these scum of the earth her brother or some other families member who set this up? Sick Sick Sick.. I feel for this young girl who will have a long road a head of her.. I hope they fry them all.. this is TX after all.. throw them in with the population and let them get a feel for what this girl must have felt and then fry them when they are all done with them.
