- I'm a teenage mom of a 7 month old. I got into farmville while I was pregnant because I was sick most of my pregnancy and got put on bedrest. Farmville IS addicting once you get into it but I would never choose a game over my son, or any child, especially a baby. That is ridiculous.

- Ok, this pisses me off to no ******* end! This woman should be drug outside and shot like a rabid animal. First for the obvious, she killed her innocent baby who just needed his mommy and second because she gives all gamers who are also parents a bad name. I mean farmville, really? last time I checked farmville want even a real time game.
I am a married 25 year old mother of 2, I am also a gamer.... I play World of Warcraft as well as a slew of other long form games. I would NEVER think of harming my child over a video game, I mean some of the stuff in wow takes hours and explaining to a raid party that you have to tab out to change a diaper can get u grief but come on people, if you are a parent it doesnt matter what you are doing, the kids come first. I am soooo sickened by this story and it makes me want to run and hug my children so tight. They are my life.... I may be a gamer but I am ALWAYS a MOTHER FIRST!

- Uuuuh I want to cuss and scream after reading this. My husband and I adopted our son from birth he is now 6 months old and in the beginning it was sooo hard. He was screaming all the time. He was born 10lbs and started losing weight and dropped down to 8lbs at every feeding he would throw everything up they put him on prevacid for acid reflux at only 1month old. That wasn't working, Then he had a hard time pooping and went on laxatives, that helped. Doctor was so stumped and my husband works midnights so it was all me and my poor lil guy was always up just crying all the time. I wanted to pull my hair out. We ended up having to drive an hr away to see specialists. Finally after 3mos we found the solution he needed to be on soy and now my lil guy is healthy and growing normally. At no point in time did it EVER cross my mind to shake him or harm him in anyway there were so many sleepless nights and times I would even sleep on the floor next to his crib because I was so afraid I wouldnt hear him or I was afraid of SIDS so I was always checking on him. After I read this I had to go in his room and just look at him and rub his little head. We are still going thru the adoption process and our final court date is in a month. Every month we have to meet with the social worker and give her his weight, updates of any kind. It pains me that a child has to pass away bc of a mother lack responsibility and commitment. There are so many couple and single parents like my husband and I that would love to have a family. I feel if you are at a breaking point call someone, consider adoption. There are options. We have an open adoption and his birthmom is my best friend of over 20yrs. She has 3 other children and did not want to do this and it was 1wk before he was born that she asked us. Her children know that is their brother. So if other moms who are pregnant are worried about not seeing them or resentment you have the right to choose how much or little contact. I wish I could of been that girls neighbor or something and could of offered a helping hand in someway but unfortunatly none of us were. All we can do is be supportive of mothers in need and educate them on options that are available. My verdict is.... Death Penalty

- It's horrible to think that you can shake your baby to death, and then one day walk the streets again as if nothing happened. I'd like to see her be put to death for such a crime.

- how ironic... as I go to post a comment the Farmville popup interrupted trying to promote the game... this is ashame and this ***** deserves what she gets... if she couldn't take care of her child then there were other options... don't worry she will get hers... what has the world turned into??? ppl are so crazy nemore, take care of your babies these stupid games can wait... ***

- Her photo makes her looks as if she has had a frontal lobotomy. To stop and smoke a cigarette all the while your baby is crying hardly seems logical. It appears the problem is she resented the fact that she now was full time in charge of a helpless being and had the mind set where she didn't care much about raising her baby as she did about raising her virtual farm.
