This amazes me considering there are air traffic controllers holding the LIVES OF THOUSANDS of people in their hands every day making UNDER 40k a year! Those employees don't do anything too earn that type of salary. Most of them don't even go to work every day. But, I bet you, during the summer months, 75% of the our federal government has a skelteon crew during the months of May - September in any given year.
The Goverment does not create anything, it has no industry, the only reason it exist is because of our tax dollars. Without the Host(us) the parisite (Goverment) dies. It is simple the free people,s army is 100 times larger than theirs. An army of angry men. When will enough be enough? When you have nothing and have to depend on them? It is a simple math equation people. The answer is right in front of you.

You're correct. The government will eventually own everything and the majority of our taxes goes to the federal government. The federal government is the largest spender (i.e,, waste) of them all. They are nortoriious for paying huge salaries to employees who can barley read or write.
While the rest of America is cutting back and doing whatever is necessary to survive in these uncertain times. Our local and states government has cut back tremendously to support our economy during these difficult times.
But, our federal government hasn't made an attempt to do what they've ask the ordinary people to do. We have sacrificed, cut back and been as furgal as anyone.
The first, thing Obama should have done months ago, should have been to put a frenze on the salaries and hiring in the Federal Government. In addition, cut some of those salaries just lack some of our state and local government did.
No wonder, we are not seeing any real results with the economy. We have 6.35 million people in this country unemployed and the only help they can get is "unemployment benefits". Where are the job creations. The federal goverment have employees making above and beyond the type of wages that most earn with a degrees when most of them don't . I will gurantee you, that most of those federal workers haven't even graduated from high school and they are making at least $75,000 per annual.
This new President has not addressed immediate job creations nor have he set an example for this country to follow when we're suppose to be in the same boat. It appears that's not true.
It is a trick for the extremely stupid - "create or save 3 million jobs". We can have 3 cases:
1) the number of unemployed stays the same; Obama will say that without his porkulus bill the rate would have been bigger by 3 million; so he "created" 3 million jobs;
2) the number of unemployed goes up by one million; Obama will say that without his porkulus bill the number would have gone up by 4 million; so he created 3 million jobs;
3) the number of unemployed goes down by one million; Obama would say that without his porkulus bill the number of unemployed would have gone up by 2 million; so he created 3 million jobs.
You can see that no matter what happens - Abu Hussein's prediction will be right.

I hate to confuse things with facts but, according to the online statistics, the four BIGGEST welfare states are; DC, New York, California and Rhode Island.
Obama is stupid. So stupid that I think that the average conversation about Obama should begin with the sentence "Obama is stupid." This would help us begin to extricate him from office.
Mtgin, I am a small business owner, and have indeed seen my taxes go down under Obama. Of course, it is a result of declining revenue and increased expenses, but heck, no one said how our taxes were going to go down!
As an aside, I am sick and tired of hearing how the current administration inherited a bad economy. We don't want excuses - blaming others for problems is not a solution.
Further, I'd like to know how sucking up all the available private capital, current and future, to pay for this huge government expansion/spending will lead to a healthy economy in the future. Transfering money and capital from the productive to the unproductive is not an economic solution - it is a recipe for disaster. With the proposed increases in capital gains taxes, personal & corporate income taxes, and the continued demonization of those that are productive, where is the incentive to invest and grow?
