Next tax day I'm starting a grassroots movement that will protest against private citizens keeping any of their money. Why shouldn't the government have all of the money? Private citizens are selfish when they work hard and keep it all to themselves. I think I'll call it the "douche_bag party".

I am so sick and tired of the socialistic turn that this country is taking. Don't you people get it? More and more is going to be taken from you so that you will become totally dependent on the government. Administration won't let banks out of their bailouts even though some want out. That is underhanded. Administration wants total control of banks. They also would like total control of automobile industry so that they can build their so-called green cars - we musn't forget Al Gore's manufactured man-made global warming. He has government kissing his behind. How silly of me to say these things -- Obamaites want to be told what to do and when to do it, they want to be told what color of car to drive and what to fuel it with. They want government to control the thermostats in their homes. And they don't care that their children are being taught Muslim prayers in schools, and that footbaths and special rooms are designated as prayer rooms for Muslims, but you don't see crucifixes or other Christian or Jewish articles in schools, let alone rooms in which they can pray. We have a president who wouldn't speak at Georgetown University until they covered religious picture. During the campaign the mainstream media refused to investigate his connections because, after all, we could have our first black president, so it doesn't matter whether or not he is qualified for the job, we could have our first black president. That was the most important factor. Nothing else mattered. Nothing else. Now we are all paying dearly for those slobbering idiots.

Protesting is good... being led by the nose by billionaires is bad... don't you get it?

It absolutely stuns me how the ignorant can be bamboozled into supporting causes that are directly opposed to they and their families best interests. Here we have some billionaires that put together these tea parties and then call the dutiful lemmings to jump off the cliff in support of the mega-rich... as said earlier here, you can't cure stupid. You gotta admit, that hate and fear agenda really works for the half-wit paranoids in this country. If only they felt these patriotic stirrings when Bush was gutting out the Constitution and torturing people in our name, they would have a lot more credibility on such issues. Instead, they look like crybaby seditionists who would gladly destroy our country for their party. I believe 2010 will put an end to the republican party I grew up with which it so richly deserves. I quit the repugs 30 years ago during the Contract on America when I realized they went insane (thanks, Newt). When you put the welfare of your party over the welfare of your country, you have been led astray and misplaced your loyalties. The Republic is what matters. Governments come and go... get a platform that makes sense to the common man and woman and you get elected... say stupid stuff all the time and end up sitting on the sidelines grazing the grass like you are now.

The protest took place next to a park near New York city hall in lower Manhattan; though police were unable to offer an estimate at the scene, there appeared to be in excess of 1,000 people in attendance

WOW!!!
I wonder how many people turned out for the last Mets game.

?I think [President Obama] is doing a terrible job, and he?s weakening this nation,? Pam Griffin said. ?Shame on everybody who voted for him.?

She went on to describe President Bush as someone who did a ?great job? and whose spending was ?totally responsible.?

Yes , there really are people that stupid... and , you can't fix stupid.

It is funny how libs seem to get scared when they know they have lost and the only resort is to call people names and be hateful.

Except the dumb dumb conservatives are the ones supporting the rich elitist corporate CEOs. And voting for the pathetic rich but ignorant McSame and the rich MILF Quaylin. Maybe they figure the rich will feel sorry for them and tea bag them.
