May i remind you that Ronald Reagan spent more than all presidents prior to him combined!! Ronald Reagan accumulated more deficit than all Presidents before him combined. Ronald Reagan bailed out the S&L industry and as part of that bailout, board members for some of the largest S&L's were removed!!

Ironic that the head of Silverado Savings & Loan, which cost US taxpayers $1.3B to bail out, Neil Bush (you guys know that Bush name) was not replaced...

If we want to play the pay for performance game, which is legitimate, keep in mind that Congress has an performance apporval rating of 9%. We should "claw back" every pay increase and every bonus they received since their performane approval rating dropped below 50%.

Let's also do a performance approval rating on Geithner. Keep in mind he did not know that if he was self-employed he needed to pay taxes.

Of course that is the case with 20% of Obama appointments.

I noticed the comment about Obama not beeing able to run the GM Foodservice. Did you know that the Senate can't even run their own dining facilities efficiently? Dianne "get your gun" Feinstein even said "We have to privatise this". Most of the Senators run over to the House dining room to get an edible meal. It's run by a private company, run well, and they are allowed to make a profit. (At least up to this point).
