This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper.

The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?"
I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,
Patriotic retirement:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force - Pay them $1 million apiece severance with the following stipulations:
1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.
It can't get t any easier than that!

P.S. - If more money is needed, have everyone on Capitol Hill pay their taxes...

Who's running interference for AIG so their fat cats keep their jobs?

==========
There's a listing somewhere on the net. Search: "Campaign Contributions...". And lest we forget, sadly the contributions run to both parties.

Ah John. Nobody's suffering except the middle class. The poor's lot will improve (that's OK) and the rich will stay very comfortable. Sorry 'bout your pension. Mine's just fine and the T notes are much better than stocks. Now, if I still smoked I'd be p.o.'d

"Neither Obama and Geithner have ever run anything in their lives. Geithner couldn't even pay his taxes. How are they qualified to this country let alone businesses. This administration would be a joke if Obama and Geithner weren't such power hungry fascists.

And your Beloved Leader Bushit ran what? Away from active duty in Vietnam, away from his duty to the U.S. military when he deserted?

That's what Repigs call Character and Experience.

The rest of us call it Pussyshit.

"Gee whatta you know, more Socialism. If the Government takes control of the financial system in America (the banks), then we'll have communism.

That's what you want, isn't it liberals?

Nope, just Socialism. We LOVE to see the people kicking the a$$es of the uber-rich elite class who has been cornholing us for the last 8 years under your Great God Bushit and your Dear Leader Raygun.

I LOVE to see rich Walstreeters crying because their yacht has been seized.

I LOVE to see Bushit's Billionaires having to scrimp and save.

And since your NeoRepig thieves stole our retirement, I guess we'll have to watch it on TV in the evenings after we work to age 85.

Payback.

When will the leaders of AIG be ousted?

Our government owns 80% of the company, remember.

Even Barney Frank said so.

Who's running interference for AIG so their fat cats keep their jobs?

When will anyone talk about ousting Geithner?

How about Burris?

Holder?

Anyone?

The only ones with job security are the members of our government.

Makes you feel real good, knowing a tax cheat and a president with absolutely no experience are running things.
