All this talk about Health Care Reform. No one mentions the number one cause of skyrocketing costs. Malpractice Insurance. As long as we allow the Legal Profession to look upon the Medical Profession as a CA$H COW nothing will change. Lawyers do not do it for justice, they do it for money. Without Tort Reform, Health Care Costs will break the bank down the road for the benefit of only a few.

What the heck is a "hovercraft like plan"? Does it glid on a blanket of air? Does it travel on both land and water? Does it hover between 2-9 inches above the market.

What I think you are referring to is the "trigger". (only because I already know Snowe' stand on the issue) They idea is that something would "trigger" the creation of a public plan. For the life of me I have no idea how that makes it hovercraft like.

Also your reporting about Emanuel's idea is wrong. I know because you contradict yourself within two lines. You claim there would be a weak plan at first, and also that the plan would only go into effect after 5 years. The plan could get stronger, but exist at first than be put into place 5 years later.

We do not have a government for the people we have a government for the wealthy. Everything is geared towards them, and I do mean everything. If you have a tax deduction before you donate to the various charities in our country, you are one tired individual.
