Like that is any different from the reality the average American must accept, post-Patriot Act?

The same with Palin''''s kids. She should not have been bring them onstage with her.

No she shouldn''t have. Especially if she didn''t want people saying things about them.

People were brutal with Sarah and her kids.

Yeah, I disagree with him doing that. They shouldn''t be bringing the kids on stage and they shouldn''t be making any statements at all. As far as I''m concerned we have seen way too much of those kids.

The same with Palin''s kids. She should not have been bring them onstage with her.

I agree! this is all happening because of Republican Policies. Which time after time never work! Seems the Dems always are stuck fixing the economy after the fact. Just look at the History.Republicans equals war, giant deficits,Tax shifts to the Middle Class,And big time Corruption( Dems aren''''t perfect either, but there is less thier seems). Also It seems all republicans do the blame on everone else except them even when it is their policies which they put in power.Who was in Power the last eight years? Looks like they will never learn to take responsibilities for thier own actions. Now its time to fix it and they want no part in what they did. Time to abolish the Republican Party as a whole.

Of course it also means something to the racists and that is where part of the problem is.

I''''m not so sure. They may for awhile, but I think it''''s just a matter of time.

You could be partly right, I remember the Chelsea jokes, and the talk about the Bush twins, but I still don''t think the Obama girls will be picked on that much.

I did run across something that kinda says it like it is. Presidents will run their kids out there for photo ops and have them say cute things to the press when they want too, but when the press says something they don''t like, they say "My children should be off limits".

This the paragraph that I was paraphrasing.

"Obama asks that his children be off limits. I agree, but he seems to want it both ways. He is the one that brings them onstage on a regular basis and encourages them to make complimentary statements about him. He even had them interviewed by a national reporter a couple weeks ago. His bloggers are also all over this webpage making indescent statements about Palins''s child."

I think that right now, he''s coming down off a "high". And who could blame him? He''s the first black President! That means something!

Of course it also means something to the racists and that is where part of the problem is.

Maybe Michelle (SP) too, but they will leave the girls alone.

Posted by AJMarine111 at 06:34 PM : Feb 06, 2009

I''m not so sure. They may for awhile, but I think it''s just a matter of time. Actually it''s the "people" that will start tearing them down. Look at poor Chelsea Clinton. It wasn''t just the media, the people were calling her ugly. How can they do that to a child? People like to build things up, but eventually they will tear it back down.
