bigsk8fan: Nancy Reagan might think Obama is making the right decision but I want to remind you that her husband was very pro-life! I wonder what he would have thought about this?

If we implement the changes recommended by those who do accept it as fact, there will be suffering of a different sort.

The real question is which woudl be worse?

What sorts of suffering are you refering to?

Well, the list is long but we're talking about less efficient refrigerants, for example which will make air conditioning more expensive and less attainable.

These refrigerants and their costs will also driv up production and transport costs and the cost will be passed along as always.

And that's just discussing refigerants.

Global warming measures will be expensive to implement.

I'm not saying that they should not be, only that they will be costly in many ways.

'President Barack Obama said Monday he is allowing federal taxpayer dollars to fund significantly broader research on embryonic stem cells because "medical miracles do not happen simply by accident," and promised his administration would make up for the ground lost under his predecessor."

"President Barack Obama has ordered a review of his predecessor's so-called signing statements, which often told officials how to implement laws."

"(CNN) -- America is a less Christian nation than it was 20 years ago, and Christianity is not losing out to other religions, but primarily to a rejection of religion altogether, a survey published Monday found."

It a great day to be an American.

It's been quite a good day for news, in my perspective.

Stem cells are back as an option, signing statements of Dubya are being reviewed and a study showing fewer and fewer Americans claiming to believe in dogma.

A great day indeed.....

Global warming has turned into a religion and if you speak question it, you are thought of as a Heretic.

Semper Fi, AJ.

Global warming is one of those issues that seem to leave very little ground.

There are those convinced by the science to date and there are other who completely disregard it.

If those who disregard it are wrong we do nothing, we will all suffer.

If we implement the changes recommended by those who do accept it as fact, there will be suffering of a different sort.

The real question is which woudl be worse?

Why are we worrying about green house gasses and global warming. With the economy in the drink and no chance of getting out of it, the problem is solved. The new administration is doing a good job at keeping it down.

They have been questioning it for decades......all the while science and technologies have only improved. There is proof out there that it is happening, the only questions that really should have any validity is how much and how fast.

................or is it really caused by man or is it the work of the Sun and natural occurring things on Earth.

I leave in Ohio and once we had the Glaciers that carved out the Great Lakes right where I now live.

They melted and retreated back into Canada a long time before man could have caused it.

Stem Cell research has never been restricted. Only taxpayers did not have to pay for it.
