The "canned" obfuscation of the fundamental.
Calling a frozen clump of cells an "unborn" baby.
A baby isn't a baby UNTIL it's born, until then it's a zygote, embryo, or fetus, depending on it's stage of development.

- The United States is always shooting itself in the foot, creating advanced technology and then passing Laws preventing its use. Then foreign nations step in and pick up the technology, implement it and sell it back to us! That is the dumbest thing I ever heard of, its just plain stupid. The U.S. is not operating in a vacuum, other nations will implement our ideas if we won't and Americans will travel overseas to take advantage of it making others rich and advancing their technology, or our abandoned technology! The U.S. is 8 years behind, time to catch up, good job Pres. Obama, banning this technology was stupid to begin with. I understand the arguments, I believe life begins at a humans first breath of air, not before! Life began for Adam when God breathed life into Adam, not before, not while Adam was created and still lying there on the ground, life began when Adam took his first breath from Gods, its an important distinction and the arguments are rooted in when life begins.

Well, the list is long but we're talking about less efficient refrigerants, for example which will make air conditioning more expensive and less attainable.
These refrigerants and their costs will also driv up production and transport costs and the cost will be passed along as always.
And that's just discussing refigerants.
Global warming measures will be expensive to implement.

- It's been quite a good day for news, in my perspective.
Stem cells are back as an option, signing statements of Dubya are being reviewed and a study showing fewer and fewer Americans claiming to believe in dogma.

Global warming is one of those issues that seem to leave very little ground.
There are those convinced by the science to date and there are other who completely disregard it.
If those who disregard it are wrong we do nothing, we will all suffer.
If we implement the changes recommended by those who do accept it as fact, there will be suffering of a different sort.

- Why are we worrying about green house gasses and global warming. With the economy in the drink and no chance of getting out of it, the problem is solved. The new administration is doing a good job at keeping it down.

- They have been questioning it for decades......all the while science and technologies have only improved. There is proof out there that it is happening, the only questions that really should have any validity is how much and how fast.
