What truly amazing is given the history of Afghanistan no occupying country has ever completely subdued the people of Afghanistan or ever controlled the entire country. What makes the Pentagon and Washington think
that we are going to fair better. All of our high Tech toys have not found or killed Ossama. Or stopped the Taliban form reasserting themselves into the countryside.

Forget any kind of fair or rational response....more likely you''re about to be verbally assaulted for things you have zero control over...best offense is the defense.

Yes Bush Mission accomplished!!! Your an Idiot if you think this war was won.
No enemy in this war has surrendered or signed any treaty to say they surrender. As soon as we are gone the war lords and insurgents will start a civil war and take over the government.
No little recon fantasy you have going on there though.

Obama understands the threat posed by radical Islam and the militant extremists who arethe cause of unrest and war in the modern world. He will "stay the course" in order to keep America safe. The real question is will he be as hated, critisized, and vilified by the left as Bush was? Will the left show the same support for the enemy as they had when Bush was dictating policy? It will be interesting to see and read.
