According to YOU, and your opinion.....the U.S. Military establishment feels otherwise....We suffered because you and your party undermined the war like a "Fifth Column" (Murtha, Kerry, Durbin, Kennedy, Reid) and prolonged it much longer than needed.

Hungry hasn't realized yet that his precious Messiah just CAUSED the troops to have to be in Iraq and extra 17 months....and he hasn't woke up yet and realized that his precious Messiah is sending 17,000 troops into Afghanistan and putting them in unnecessary peril...BUSH didn't send more troops for a REASON....precious Messiah can't seem to grasp that. - Reply to this comment
- Are you just dumb or something ?? You must know that "Wall Street" doesn't equal "rich folks or wealthy republicans" it is a street where the market is located, a market of ALL public companies in America, everytime you want to punish "Wall Street" you are punishing America, your parents retirement is disappearing, your 401K, everyday middle class Americans are losing when you "Unravel Wall Street"
What is wrong with you libs, you should strive to be successful, not envious of those who are.

LOL! It isn't the middle class or poor that are offing themselves because they can't face life being poor or not being better than everyone else. I have lost money in my 401k just like everyone else but I will survive and continue to live the frugal existence I always have. Beside Joe, haven't you ever heard that it is easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven? - Reply to this comment
- Jeebus, Slownewsbich...aka Hungry 1968-15 and johndevinejr....
Why are you so DESPERATE to put down religion and religious people!
What the HECK are you scared of? You're like some frightened child that can't seem to grasp a concept and realize the good in it far outweights your idiot blithering....sitting in your high chair squawling and bawling because your mother wants you to eat corn flakes instead of froot loops.
You get more desperate every day! What is it, Slow? Are you just an arabic/muslim trying to spread your hatred of Christians? Has your brain been fried by the jihad haditha's?
You hate the Christians, you hate the Jews, you hate the republicans, you hate the troops, you hate your neighbor.....
Give it up man, it's eating your brain cells. - Reply to this comment
- Christianity is no longer a religion, it is a political party.

That pretty much includes ALL religion....which was supposed to be the reason the Constitution insisted on the separation of church and state. And we'd better hope and pray it is enforced and STAYS THAT WAY!!! - Reply to this comment
- See...it's not that Dems don't see eye to eye with Republicans when it comes to business...they just rode the little bus to school all their lives so it takes them longer to process a crisis. There may be hope for these people yet. It's FINALLY sinking in just how quickly trickle down poverty can occur when free market solutions are thrown under the bus in order to 'save the people'.

- Nope, Christianity is still a religion practiced by Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and even some Communists.
If you base your view of the largest and most diverse faith the world has ever known upon the views of a small subset it's no wonder that you have such a negative and superficial view.

I have 12 years of Catholic education, I have read both the Old Testament and the New Testament cover to cover.
In my life I have met 1000's of people who claim to be Christians. With very few exceptions they practice the parts of that religion that they like and ignore those parts which they do not like.
In addition, most "Christians" continuously try to impose their views on anyone and everyone as they have been taught. After all if you are not a Christian you will go to hell.
Is that not what is taught? - Reply to this comment
- When did we invade Iraq, and why?
Because Saddam Hussein was paying suicide bombers families $25,000 a piece, if they blew themselves up in Israel. And WHY did Bush want to end that?
Because he's a christian, and it threatened the "rapture". Which of course makes NO SENSE whatsoever, because if there REALLY was a god - which of course there isn't - he would protect Israel, and no suicide bombers or Hamas rockets would hit Israel in the first place.
Either way, our involvement WAS NOT necessary, and our country suffered because of it.

It should be mentioned that in addition to Bush's reasons there were Rumsfeld, Cheney, Armiatge, Wolfowitz who had been trying to start a war with Iraq since the early 90's.
And it has always been for money. Either oil, or so Haliburton could make money for Cheney.
As more and more records come out we will see how bad these people really were.
Go to the PNAC website, they are open about it, at least they were the last time I checked.
They may now have their tails between their legs because the Iraq lies have been discovered - Reply to this comment
- If Jesus Christ and "god" did really exist, and Jesus did "come back" and saw how the Christians acted in "his name", he would BEG his "father" to flood the world -- AGAIN -- killing them all.

- Oh and by the way jerk, we were kept safe every year after Islam attacked us.
So you can keep your evil world view to yourself.

I love how you guys like to pretend that Bush kept us safe.
You alway ignore the facts:
THE 9/11 ATTACK OCCURRED ON BUSH'S WATCH
He did not keep us safe, he allowed the attacks to happen by ignoring the memo's sent to him because he was too busy trying to politicize the Justice Department.
