Typical cry baby Republicans whining about a little tax increase here and there. The pea brained Republicans and their failed policies created this mess we?re in and their greed prevents from seeing a way out. They lied and lied to get us into Iraq, made a mess of the war effort and sucked the U.S. Treasury dry while creating a welfare state in there.

The Republican candyass cry babies have botched everything they?ve touched. Since they don?t have brains big enough to formulate a way out of they?re mess and so they should just shut up and leave the real work to the Democrats.

Your selective outrage is pathetic and sickening.

Have you been a bedwetting liberal all your life??? The last time I checked, CONGRESS spends the money! In Oflama's first month in office, he, Pelosi, and Reid have outspent Bush and republicans 10 to 1.

Your intellectual vacancy is both pathetic and sickening!

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers
and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans
are more enlightened than Americans. That's why most of the liberals
remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They
crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of
trying to get more for nothing.

For all you morons who call yourself Republicans today we just laid off another round of people I am still working many are not. The managers got their bonus but of course you morons believe in the Rush doctrine.

Don't worry as a former swing voter I will not forget, how you deregulated us into this mess. You had your inch and you took a thousand miles. Never again of that I am sure of you wasted 5.5 trillion dollars and have nothing to show for it.

Your king is gone and for all I care you can go the way of the whigs.

Your nonsense just keeps getting worst and worst each day.

By the way neocons be afraid of the swing voter we are not through yet.

Everybody, and I mean everybody (except demotards) predicted this.
I know that socialism costs a lot of money but this is ridiculous.

This puts things somewhat into perspective....
Interesting Statistic:
1) If you deposited a million dollars into a pot every day since the birth of Jesus, you would still not have enough to pay for the stimulus package (2,008 years x 365 days x $1M = $732.9B).

2) BHO has proposed a budget that is greater than all the budgets combined since the country became a nation.

OBAMA?S TWO-WEEK RECAP
>>
>> 1, The American people elect a black president with a total of 42 days experience as a U S Senator from the most politically corrupt state in America whose governor is ousted from office. The President's first official act is to close Gitmo and make sure Terrorists civil rights are not violated.
>>
>> 2, The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.
>> 3, The CIA Boss, Leon Penetta with absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda we find out, that is a true radical anti-American activist who is a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere.
>> 4. We got the most corrupt female in America as Secretary of State; bought and paid for.
>> 5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who files his own taxes.
>> 6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.
>> 7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.
>> 8. A Labor Sec'y nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.
>> 9. A Sec'y HHS nominee who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.
>>
>> And that's just the first two weeks . . . but who's counting.
>>
>> America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ~ Barrack, Nancy , and Harry ~ and they are still trying to define stimulus.
>> Stimulus is where the government gives a smidgen of your tax dollars back to you making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated] that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!
>> One Big Ass Mistake America

Even though they're the only ones actually giving us the correct information for the first time in years, also making you involved in the process as opposed to what obtained as late as last year
Posted by parrots7

How exactly are they making us involved in the process? Now, I know Obama promised to keep things more open and transparent, but that has proven to be just more of his hot air. Instead of posting the bills on the White House website for several days so the public could view them (like Obama promised), Obama and the Socialists simply ram their bills through before anyone could remotely have a chance of reading them.

Socialist translation for "Making you're more involved in the process": You're going to pay until you bleed for our pet projects.

Obama's cap & trade (aka: "Death to the economy!") plan is to increase energy taxes by $650 billion people in a country of 300 million.....

That's over $2,166 per every man, woman, and child in the US...

And Obama's "tax cut" for 95% of Americans will equal $400 per person at the most....

How, exactly, will "far more people" benefit from Obama's plan? What a bunch of lies, but that's to be expected out of this administration.

That is called funny math. Isn't that how we got here to begin with?

I'd like to know where the indignation of these alleged fiscal conservatives was during the last eight years of Bush's vandalism spree.

the economy died.
Posted by ibzebin

Correct.

On the GOP watch.

Obama is administering life support right now.

You're welcome.
Posted by broadwayphi

Not true. The economy was solid in 2006 when the Democrats took over Congress. By 2008, the economy was in shambles after only 2 years of Liberal/Socialist control.

How could Timmy cook something he wasn't involved in ?? Any Repug ? Dumb Repugs !

Try reading the article. The point was that Timmy and Barry are using overly optimistic numbers ("cooking the books") to try to convince America that they're not totally scroowing us.

The federal pockets are OUR pockets
Posted by jgg00000008

Correct.

The very ones being picked by GOP tax breaks for the very wealthy.

Like it or not, the rebuilding of Main Street goes through the White House. The only machine capable of rerouting dollars back into the real economy is the federal mechanism.

Let the rerouting begin.
