Once again, he will try to get healthcare to all. The illegal aliens,poor,non working class that contributes nothing to our country. They drain our economic system. We spend billions on people who do not belong HERE. ILLEGAL means ILLEGAL. Besides those folks the ladies are getting rewarded for being lazy. More money from welfare off the backs of the earners in this country. This is ridiculous and it will create a stronger divide between people of socio economic status. People, we MUST stop this. No rational person can believe spending more money and making more debt will bring back prosperity. It doesnt matter what Bush did, its done and we are here. What matters is what we do going forward. Obama is taking us the wrong way. Every major indicators says that. In your heart you know that charging it doesnt work. We have to ask him to stop this.

Americans, as much of the worlds people do concur, are children and childlike. They have lived in a myth of their own making for so long that they cannot now decipher reality, fact from fiction. lie or truth, and all that is either ethical or moral has disintegrated all and everything. We are already in a great depression. We want everything to be fixed immediately with little or no suffering on anyone's part. We want our dreams and fairy tales fulfilled without hard work, much thought, or real effort. Our collective shame for this mess we are in was built by all of us. speakinup - Many posters are probably too young to know what high inflation is like when prices go up 10, 15, or 20 per cent per year as your income stagnates or goes up 3 or 4 per cent per year. High inflation is especially hard on low income people, self employed people, and people on fixed incomes such as retired people. My biggest fear with so much money being pumped into the economy by government and competing with consumer dollars is that we will have hyperinflation which will throw many people into poverty. The people will then demand more government solutions as problems get worse.

Obama has a good plan! He is trying to correct eight years of failed Republican policies and it will not be fixed in a short couple of weeks.

It is going to take several months before the efforts of the stimulus plan take hold. All you Republican cry babies should just sit back while the Democrats correct your mistakes. Give it time!

we see that it was NOT all right to double the debt under Bush. We slowed him down and he left with a very low aproval rating. Now you rguy comes along and wants to triple the debt in less time than Bush took to double it. That isnt change, its acceleration on the same path.

Every financial indicators says we are getting worse, not better. Fiancial experts say the Obama plan is not likely to work. Listen up. we have a guy with very little experience trying to fix the worse economic problem of our lifetime and the experts are saying he is wrong. When does it stop?
