Comments on: Obama Unveils $75B Mortgage Relief Plan
Initiative Aims To Help Borrowers Refinance And Prevent Millions Of Americans From Losing Their Homes
- The mortgage crisis of today will be replaced by another crisis tomorrow. What is behind the crisis? There are many participants, but the number of ailing ones grows to an alarming percentage that the integrity of the program begins to loose function and is breached.
When was the last time you raised up your head above your strata and peered over to see how your own neighor or relative was doing? Do you even respect those who struggle? Do you feel you don''t deserve respect or help because you yourself are struggling?
Now, is a good time to wise up and see the crisis over the horizon. Conflict resolution is becoming a national problem, because respect has seemed to vanish from the forum over the past 8 years. It is easy to solve. Give respect and be polite and care about the person next to you. When you do, you are playing like a team player of a bigger team. When you enter a forum to compete, you compete like a team and resolve your conflicts like a team.
If you are disconnected, get reconnected and pursue membership in a team that serves people. Without this, we won''t have the greatest ingredient present in great economy we are cooking today. - Reply to this comment

- More Democrats are making a healthier and better places in their minds for the Republicans to exist. Republicans have to do the same. Both Democrats and Republicans have to remember that voters like to see results.
There is a big problem with a political party running the country for 8 years and spending a lot of money and having little to show for it and saying there is no economic problem.
A political party that admits there is a problem and spends money to attempt to solve it draws far more respect from the voter. After all, it is their money.
Deregulation sounded like a good idea in the 80''s. We were impressed with it and went into ether over the idea that monopoly industries would be replaced with competitive firms that made more available to the consumers at lower costs.
It still sounds like a good concept, but the controls are needed and legislation needs to be in place that gives government enforcement authority over upper level deciders in the firms, and require more education in lower level ones.
Education, education, education...that is what liberals want to do...they want to open our minds and empower us to make wise decisions and informed choices.
Whatever your job might be today will be done tomorrow by someone competitive and more educated. Liberals won''t allow theirselves to become obsolete. - Reply to this comment
- I''ve decided that Obama is right about the stimulus package. Jobs and the economy have to take precedence over politics and this conservative is embarrassed by the fact that the Republicans in DC fail to understand that.

No, you''re passing the buck.
It''s like creating a huge mess in someone else''s living room, leaving it for someone else to clean and then complaining about the way they clean it.
Very bad form. - Reply to this comment

- Billion, trillion, another billion. Does any one feel like these numbers are getting used way too often? When the government releases its zillion dollar bailout next July we can all celebrate the fact the government has spent more money than we all make in our lives. Yeah.....

- The facts show that you Republican cracker types are leeches,
Posted by wolfsbanej
Who in the hell are you to say republicans are leeches? We did not sign papers without reading the *** things. THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR A LIVING AND TAKE PRIDE IN PAYING OUR DEBTS ARE THE ONES BEING PENALIZED FOR DOING SO. We are the same people who give to homeless missions. We help build houses for Habitat for Humanity. Raise money for abused and battered women and children%u2019s homes. Adopt families at Christmas who do not have enough to provide for their children. Cut the grass for a neighbor who cannot afford a lawnmower repair. Belong to civic clubs to make a difference by sending handicapped children to camp, give scholarships to hard working underprivileged HS seniors. We write checks to the kidney association so those who must receive dialysis yet cannot afford those treatments can live. We give of ourselves at every turn. I DON"T WANT THE GOVERMENT TO DECIDE WHO I HELP. If a family cannot make a payment because the income is gone that is one thing (I don''t mind helping). If they cannot make the payment out of their lack of desire for betterment I HAVE A PROBLEM. We sir are the backbone of this nation. Everything I listed above I did of my own accord and free will last year, and every year that I have EARNED enough to do so. EVEN WHEN I did not EARN enough to give money I still gave of my time. I am a PROUD REPUBLICAN. What did you do last year besides spout your hatred? - Reply to this comment
- It''s nice to finally have a President that is working hard for the American people. We haven''t had that in the last 8 years. Atleast this President is trying to do right.
