The stock market bubble burst in 1929. The tech bubble burst in 2001. The real estate bubble burst in 2008. The whole dam Hindenburg bubble that is the nation''s economy and bankrupt government burst in 2009 and Obama et.al. want to turn on the money printing presses to try to re-inflate it. God help us.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend; below is some perspective: A billion seconds ago it was 1959. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes at the rate our government is spending it. Imagine, now $700 billion bailing out banks in the US .That''''s enough to fund complete medical care for every man, woman and child currently alive in the US for 11 years!! 50 billion to bail out the auto industry??? We also have NUMEROUS tax on items. Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt. We had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What happened? Can you spell ''''politicians!''''And I still have to press ''''1''''for English. And our politicians want to spend TRILLIONS!
That is the scam of government. They CREATE the "problem" then sell us the solution to it. Whether it was the "Red Menace", or the "War On Drugs" or the "Rape Crisis" or "Saddam''''''''s Nooks", or "The War On Terror", or "Human Caused Global Warming", it is the same swindle over and over again; create the illusion of a problem, then offer to sell us the solution in exchange for higher taxes and blind support for the candidate/agenda.

Make a valid point! You can''t kick Bush around anymore, you have a new horse to kick and believe me in 18 months you lemmings will be bashing the cr ap out of him.
Question: Does anyone realize that this Stimulus package only offers about 18 months of ecenomic relief? The majority of this money is tax payer dollars with a small percentage in private money. The money has not even been taken out of Americans paychecks yet. To pay for this it will take years of additional tax money to break even. What does that mean? Tax increases, which have already begun on certain products (cigarettes,gas) and you will see an increase in FICA withholdings from your paychecks within 6 months. The problem is that there will be another Stimulus package in the making in early to mid 2010, and bi annually for years to come just to catch up.
Obama wants to act like the democrats didnt have control of everything but the administration, and that Bush was the root of the economic collapse. I didnt support bush''''''''s bailouts, or these bailouts. An alternative i think could have created over 3 million jobs in LESS than a year is what Dave Ramsey, financial gurru who promotes spending less than you make and cutting up your credit cards, proposed a $20,000 tax credit to employers for every job they created. That would be 60 billion and then we wouldnt have supported the left wing wish list, under the pretense of a stimulis. If I go to the dr for migraines he wont send me out of the office in a body cast. I would have penciled in Ron Paul myself, if i wasnt afraid of the impending socialism about to be passed.
