You live by the sword and die by the sword, unless you're a neocon coward... and then of course, you have other peoples kids die for your wars. But that's another discussion and besides the point. If Bush and the rest of you war criminals think you're so innocent, why not put it to the test in the courts and put it to bed for all times. You're innocent before proven guilty after all, although I'm sure your smugness comes from your delusional feeling of confidence that you're innocent of being a monster on earth... far removed from that creepy master race depicted in those blood chilling black and white news reels the old geezers with those cool tattoos get so worked up about ... but that's not your problem is it bro'? Or maybe it is. Never Forget! Especially your enemies from within.

The US went against the UN to start a WAR. What makes them think they have any muscle when it comes to prosecuting people who did wrong in said war? The UN is completely flawed, and unless the collective world goes about setting that right, they need to just ****. They have no power or influence right now.

A third party is clearly called for."

I agree fellow citizen.

But not Nader or Ron Paul.

We need a third party which supports all the American people. Not just the rich, not just the poor, and not just the middle class.

But all of us.

And it can be done.

Perhaps simply by Americans with no allegiance to any party at all, ever.

Perhaps by Americans with a simple and old fashioned allegiance to The Constitution of the United States of America itself.

Who gives a rip what the freaking UN says.

I think maybe all the Bush/Cheney war criminals will 'give a rip' soon.

Indeed.

Obama promised to restore our Constitutional government, and has instead fervently fought against it.

We have been betrayed.

Again.

For our last great hope is doing the same as our last great tyrant.

Oh nice move, Obutthead, you made the big whoop decision not to prosecute, how hilarous, and them made a deal get the UN to say we must prosecute.

How special!

Actually, it's more likely the 'deal with the UN' ,as you call it, was probably done well before the torture memos were released and before the President announced that the Justice Department won't prosecute. You see, that way ditto-heads (like yourself) can't use the prosecutions as an excuse to commit terrorist acts. You can't prove that the administration had anything to do with bringing these criminals to justice.

mmm hmmm. Interesting that "Manfred" seems to be selectively oblivious to the other countries who practice torture "for real". I'd tell this guy to go screw a tree.

The People of the United States: The UN is nothing and has no authority within the borders of any sovereign nation, we are governed by a Constitution and anything that contradicts it has no force of law.

Signatories to the U.N. Convention against Torture include other luminaries in the area of Civil Rights recognition, including: Afghanistan (1985), Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, China, El Salvador, Cuba, Pakistan, and Rwanda. It's kinda like getting arrested for spitting by a cop that just relieved himself on the sidewalk.

Now this would be true justice. Not the CIA dudes, they VER JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS. The ones who should go on trial are the same ones they wished they could have tried in Germany. In this case the two HItlers Cheney and Bush. These two criminals should also be tried for the murder of every American soldier killed in the two illegal wars they started on 100% pure lies.

And despite what ToolMangler1 said about how the UN has to get the "other dictators" before they go after Bush and Company, that is total BS. ToolMangler1 has no control over the UN

You don't understand what you read very well, do you?
So far as I am concerned, they can have the shrub (bushy-baby), but my point is they have some serious 'fish to fry' and they will not go after them. The Arab countrys of the UN would rather give the USA a black eye than to stop the terrorism going through the entire world. (And most (not all) of this terrorism is started and spread by the religious extremist of Islam.)

"None of these agents will be safe traveling overseas, because they could be apprehended "

and if they refuse to go on their own, maybe we can hire mercenaries to kidnap them and deliver them to Geneva.

"And all because Barry just wanted to try to humiliate the Bush administration among the lefties in this country"

Yeah, that must be it, it's meant to humiliate Bush. Couldn't possibly have anything to do with WAR CRIMES!!!

"ToolMangler1 has no control over the UN; they go after whoever THEY want, not whoever HE wants"

Yep, that mean old UN (United Nations) keep going after people.

"Im sure they could make a case for going after Barry as well"

My God!!! Then he wouldn't be able to leave the country either!! And... if we, as a nation, object to their actions... they could 'go after' all of us. We would be isolated, like an island.

Other than the wonderful job WHO did in eradicating smallpox the UN has accomplished nothing and has been a terrible waste of American dollars sucked up by corrupt bureaucrats and anti American countries. There are 192 member states and we contribute 22 % of the money. It is past time to tell them to look for a new sugar daddy and find a new home.

Obama is no different than recent U.S. presidents:

1) Retained all the powers Bush gave to himself.

2) Bailed out big corporations while doing little for regular people.

3) Said he will withdraw from Iraq but then increased troops in Afghanistan. His withdrawal timetable is really not all that different from Bush's.

4) Announced that we will not torture (so did Bush) but declined to prosecute or even investigate past abuses.

Any other changes are cosmetic. The U.S. government is fundamentally beholden to Corporate America only, not the American people.

Good move, Barry. The documents you just released will be used in the UN and the ICC as evidence against these agents. Although what they did is not considered a crime in this country, and even if it is, with your Pardon authority, you can pardon these people, they are not protected from the UN and the bunch of criminals that run it (remind me - how high up the UN Hierarchy did Saddam's bribery scheme go? Oh yeah, all the way to the top!!).

None of these agents will be safe traveling overseas, because they could be apprehended by the UN scum crowd. If that happened, though, just imagine how "deeply disappointed" Barry and Hillary would be, just like they are with the case of Roxana Saberi, the American citizen who was just sentenced in Iran for espionage.

And all because Barry just wanted to try to humiliate the Bush administration among the lefties in this country, meaning he abused the power of his office for political purposes. This man is a fraud. He does not care what happens to this country. He wants to change it into a socialist haven, and get written up in the history books for doing so.

And despite what ToolMangler1 said about how the UN has to get the "other dictators" before they go after Bush and Company, that is total BS. ToolMangler1 has no control over the UN; they go after whoever THEY want, not whoever HE wants.

I'm sure they could make a case for going after Barry as well, if he refuses to turn over any agent the UN indicts. Of course, that statement assumes that Barry WOULDN'T turn them over, and I have significant doubts about that assumption.
