Obama won the election,Hillary by all rights really won but thats another story, so lets just wait and see what Pelosi and Reid tell him what to do.I hope its better than the approval rating these two clowns have received over the last few years,the worst in history. - Reply to this comment

what point is made by ''taking a stand''? do all those who think similarly need to march in lock step for it mean anything to you?
everyone not being in line and moving as a monolith is not necessarily a bad thing ... it could infer that they''re actually thinking for themselves ... or at least thinking w/ respect to their interests ... instead of promoting an ideological agenda defined by and promoted by the strategists in the party. - Reply to this comment
- Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen who seem to think your opinions in the world count...I just have to say first of all we have a mixed President whom is going to work with the advice of former Presidents who made mistakes but are willing to share the mistakes and maybe how to make the changes that will benefit all individuals of different races, religions and make our country what it was but better....please stop all the name calling and lets get down to business of supporting the past, present and future president/s...as we are a country of issues, problems and together we can rebuild our finanical, morals and just respect that has been lost......this is 2009 and lets work together....we don''t all agree which is fine but we are here to make live great for our families........again stop the name calling it is high schoolish...and we are above that........

- Obama is wasting his time. In six months he will be universally despised by a public that will blame him for their own self inflicted misery. Dingy Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the spineless dems will stab him in the back just like they did with Clinton, because they get their marching orders from the republicans.

Barack Obama was voted in on a historic wave of optimistic national enthusiasm to once and for all bring hope and change to Washington DC.
Sadly writing is on the political wall.
Appears brand new once in a lifetime Peoples President is simply going to use an old worn out playbook in same old sound bite political DC shuffle game.
My euphoria for real HOPE is fading and belief that genuine CHANGE was possible is waning rapidly.
This country has so much new, fresh untapped talent, yet old Clinton era cohorts being overly recruited to swagger in mass right back into White House power rat dome in a conspicuously bequeathed Washington District of Clintionism.
Political Groundhog Day!
Here we go again, some of the same old same.
If Mrs. Clinton won Democratic Party nomination and election I would have expected and accepted this predictable scenario.
We can still wave US flags and wear Obama buttons with pride, but amber caution light is flashing to warn that authentic, dynamic hope and change for 21st century American presidential leadership may be past its sell by date.
A nation is watching.
Hard work big game kicks off on 20 January with freethinking fanfare to proclaim start of hope and change era.
Please formulate and put into practice new unsullied playbook and do not shy away from innovative, contemporary policies.

- It is interesting that if people are sceptical of Mr. Obama''s capability, they are automatically labeled a racist. Blind faith in ANY politician is very dangerous. The criticisms from his own party members had some foundation, but we have already dismissed those concerns. I have never used cocaine, why can''t our president elect make that claim?
