Sudan says "America is weak again, like under Carter. So F you, America."

Obama's Arab Spring chickens and 2009 Cairo apology speech have come home to roost. If you are not feared in the Middle East, you will not be respected for apologizing. Have you ever heard an Arab government apologize for anything? No - the culture abhors weakness.

Now we reap what Obama's weakness and anti-colonial apologism has sown.

The moronic film made by an isolated character reminds me of a single anti-Islam Dutch cartoon, penned by a non-Semite, which led Iran to launch an Anti-Jewish cartoon contest. In both instances, we see a massive virulent response based on the actions of an individual, for better and worse, exercising free speech. Now, here's a related question about Islamic idol-worship. Mohammed did not want his image to be worshipped correct? He wanted to point directly to God. Does Islam point to God or to itself as an effective idol? If Mohammed said not to worship idols, are Muslims worshipping "Islam" as an idol or worshipping imageless God? If someone has a devout relationship to a saint, sheikh, rebbe, guru or teacher is that a heinous offense to an all-loving God? Is that not better than going berserk and killing people for the *** mindless film and infraction of a few remote, ignorant people *** and not at all the American people or its government? Did Mohammed intend for mobs of people to go murderously berserk should some fool working alone create an image of The Prophet or did he more benignly intend to have people directly worship the formless Divine? Are all these ostensible Muslims truly following the words of Mohammed or are they infidels worshipping the idol of religion? Which is it and does Islam or The Sacred have anything to do with this mass violence?

SKIPPING HIS DAILY SECURITY BRIEFINGS TURNED OUT TO BE GROSS INCOMPETENCE - EPIC FAIL !!!

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information about potential violent attacks at least
48 hours before the mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, & the embassy in Cairo. Unfortunately the command structure broke down.

Either that information never made it into a security briefing which is difficult to believe, or perhaps no one in authority ever saw
the information. In either case, no orders were ever issued for any type of increased security measures to be deployed.

And in either case it raises some very serious questions indeed. Are we dealing with a breakdown at the State department, The CIA or
perhaps the President's unwillingness to take live security briefings, preferring in many cases to simply read the written briefing.

Nothing like having an AMATEUR at the helm that feels that it is OK to skip his security briefings in order to make more time to campaign or play golf. Had Obama made it a point to take the daily security briefings every day, he probably would have learned of the threat of impending attack. Obama SAYS he READ the briefing? Can we believe him? And if he DID read them, as he claims, then WHY did he not take note of the danger and order steps that would mitigate that danger with an increased marine presence?

And as it turns out, the few US Marines who were there were not even allowed to carry live ammo!

Obama asked our brave men and women to step into the eye of the storm, then in some type of twisted social experiment, he asks them to do so with toy guns. I wonder if, as the President travels abroad, he asks the Secret Service to leave their bullets at home? If you recall, our border patrols officers are asked in many cases to defend themselves with guns that shoot BEAN BAGS.

GROSS NEGLIGENCE ! PURE & SIMPLE !!

(CBS News) Eleven years after the 9/11 attacks, there is new information on what the George W. Bush administration knew about al-Qaeda's plans.

Tuesday in the New York Times, investigative reporter Kurt Eichenwald says the White House received ominous warnings as early as May 2001.

CBS News spoke with Eichenwald Monday. He said, "What I've been able to see are the presidential daily briefs before August 6 of 2001. And they're horrific, and they are - our reports are 'an attack is coming,' 'there are going to be mass casualties.' The worst of them, the Pentagon, the neo-conservatives at the Pentagon, as the CIA was coming in saying, 'al-Qaeda's going to attack,' said, 'Oh, this is just a false flag operation. Bin laden is trying to take our attention off of the real threat, Iraq.' And so there are presidential daily briefs that are literally saying, 'No they're wrong, this isn't fake, it's real.'"

Eichenwald replied, "Actually, the counterterrorist center of the CIA did a spectacular job, and that's what really comes down. You know, in the aftermath, the White House and others said, 'Well they didn't tell us enough.' No, they told them everything they needed to know to go on a full alert and the White House didn't do it."

George Bush was asleep at the wheel.....and the rest is history.

authorities knew about the embassy attacks at least two days prior to the attacks. American embassies are considered American soil, and any attack against them is considered an act of war. Ambassador Steven and his staff had no security despite the advanced warning and it being the eleventh anniversary of 9/11.
The marines protecting the embassy in egypt were ordered not to have live ammo.

jgg has an interesting allegation, but like so many anti-Obama posts has nothing to support it. He might have heard it as speculation that one right wing show makes and then the next 4 shows repeat it until their confused and poorly educated listeners cannot understand that it was never more than wild speculation to begin with. If the allegation about the Marine guards were true you can be certain it will become public knowledge. The Onama White House is far more honest and open than the secret world of the water boarding criminals under Chaney.

Let me tell you. The media has done what they thinks is best. But they really don't care about Americans. Obama waited to long, and gave a bogus statement and the film. The media said to Romey, but did they forget Obama did the same thing to Bush. It is all hypocritical. They are crap. All they were wanting to do is take Obama side. If Obama did drugs they would say that OK. This is crap. I quit watching. They didn't even have any coverage of all the stuff going on. I'm really getting tired of them doing this. I know a lot of people that quit watching real crap news. They just don't tell you the truth about anything now. I have to go to the net for real news. The weather is all I trust from news these days. I'm just tired of them giving us there opinion than the news. Until that changes all they are is a gossip news media that doesn't mean anything. America is a great Country. Don't you media people forget it. You can be replaced the country can't be.
